The contact owns a 2003 Volvo S60. While driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal odor of fuel in the vehicle. The contact stated that the rear seat was lifted and the seal was missing from the fuel tank. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 09v483000 (fuel system, gasoline). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 220,000.
