1 Brake Master Cylinder problem of the 1998 Volvo S70

Failure Date: 08/26/2003

While braking, the vehicle vibrated. Took vehicle to dealership and the mechanic indicated there was a crack in the brake master cylinder. The abs light illuminated, the oxygen sensor was replaced, the vacuum line was replaced, the upper torque arm bushing broke, the door locking system broke, the inside door panel came apart.

2 Brake Master Cylinder problem of the 2000 Volvo S70

Failure Date: 09/11/2000

Brought into dealer on numerous occassions in regards to brake pedal hard and brake fade at start up. Failure to come to full stop when brake is first applied after car stands overnight or period of time. Dealer replaced sealant and fuse on abs sensors, master cylinder and abs pump motor. Dealer replace climate control box because of water runoff through climate box seam. Front stablizer link rod was replaced because found to be worn and defective.
