Four problems related to sun roof have been reported for the 1999 Volvo S80. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Sunroof was busted out by dryer in a carwash.
My sunroof was busted out in a carwas by the blower drying it off.
While driving, and without warning the sunroof support bar disconnected from the frame. The front rollover support bar fell out while opening the sunroof and the same happened to the rear support two weeks later. (VIN#1falp52uxta209370).
Computer failed excessively resulting in intermittent working of sunroof/ air conditioning, and power windows. Also vehicle stalled frequently.
