The brake rotor has severe warping with less than 27k miles on the vehicle. The brake pads per the dealer are in good condition.
After driving 19,000 miles in 22 months, I have been told all brake pads need to be replaced at a cost of over $600. I leased the vehicle with 6,000 miles, thus the car now have 25,000 miles. It seems these Xc60 have a brake pad problem, thus they should be recalled!.
Rear brakes and rotors are wearing out prematurely. Current vehicle status is 20k miles, rear pads are <3mm and rotors require replacement. Per the dealership this has been a common issue with the newer Xc60, xc90 models. They are under the impression either the pads are inferior, or Volvo potentially designed brakes that are too small for the vehicle size, leading to premature replacement required.
