Two problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 2001 Volvo XC70. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2001 Volvo v70xc with vehicle speed control malfunction. Customer states the vehicle lost all power when they hit the cruise control resume button. Dealer cleaned the etm and dealer told the consumer the problem was intermittent.
Vehicle stalled/died, and lost power due to throttle body failure. While driving the consumer noticed that the vehicle was not holding at a constant speed. This occurred whether the consumer used the cruise control or manually operated the accelerator pedal. The consumer contacted the dealer who determined that eh problem was the throttle body.
