The contact owns a 2002 Volvo Xc70. While the vehicle was sitting in idle, the electronic remote for the windows malfunctioned. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer where the motor was replaced. The remote failed again on the next day and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the contact advised the dealer that the mechanism would not catch. The dealer stated that the contact would have to pay for the part. The current mileage was 74000. The failure miles were 73512.
Cross country. Windshield wipers work intermittently. Dealer replaced wiper motor in July 2002. Two weeks later the problem occurred again. Vehicle was taken to dealer a second time, could not duplicate the problem. At present the windshield wipers are working intermittently.
