Heard a loud clunk followed by several small clunks when accelerating. Dealer confirmed the transmission & ptu are damaged and the car is no longer awd. This issue is becoming more widespread with Acura Mdxs and is a very expensive repair. From dealer: “found driveshaft can turn in park without turning front wheels. This indicated transmission and ptu splines are damaged”.
