1 Engine Stall problem of the 2007 Acura RDX

Failure Date: 09/10/2020

I purchased this car from a certified dealer in 2016. Multiple times, the vehicle lost its ability to accelerate and maintains its current speed. As it it became sluggish. Yesterday, on my way home from work, the engine stalled suddenly.

2 Engine Stall problem of the 2019 Acura RDX

Failure Date: 08/22/2020

We have had the Rdx for 18 months and have put 5,000 miles on her. During this time the engine has stalled on us perhaps 6 to as 8 times; the stalls have been and worrisome, couple seconds. The stalls have occurred merging on the freeway, at intersections while making a left or just pushing down the pedal when your cruising. We have had several close calls. You don't want to be around heavy traffic when the stall happens. It is dangerous.

3 Engine Stall problem of the 2019 Acura RDX

Failure Date: 08/11/2019

Engine stalls while vehicle is in motion. Vehicle is already in motion, 40 mph. We simply stepped on the gas paddle and the car stalled on the left lane.

4 Engine Stall problem of the 2019 Acura RDX

Failure Date: 04/04/2019

When driving above 65 mph and passing, my engine has stalled on three different occasions. Once at 1200 miles and the other twice in one day at 4,000 miles. The car obviously loses all power causing me to have to merge right in traffic to the shoulder to restart the car. Each time is was under full acceleration and in high traffic conditions.

5 Engine Stall problem of the 2007 Acura RDX

Failure Date: 02/28/2007

I purchased the vehicle on 11/23/06 and on 1/27/07, the p1009 check engine emission failure code came up on my navigation screen just as my car suddenly lost its ability to accelerate or maintain its current speed. My speed was reduce immediately from 60 mph to 20 mph and the rpm dropped from 3 to below 1. The car became sluggish and acted as though it was stalling. The car was immediately sent in for repair and I was told the solenoid was not installed correctly which cause the vehicle timing to be incorrect. Today is 2/28/07 and the car was towed away because the same error occurred along with a new error. The vsa failure alert appeared on my navigation screen followed by the p1009 check vehicle emission error. It has been 1 month to the tee and the same symptoms reappeared. The car lost its ability to accelerate and the engine stalled suddenly.
