2021- reporting a clicking sound coming from the passenger's rear. Reported several time unable to find reported clicking noise. Service manager and serice tech rode with me to try to locate noise - on two occasion noise was heard and services were done (brake and tires) only to have the noise return the next day. Ownership of vehicle is now into the 3nd year and noise is still heard. I suggested to look at the struts. Service tech indicated it's not the struts.
Hearing a knocking noise when driving at slow speed over a bumpy road. Having it checked soon but read several complaints on this same issue. Owners have repaired vehicle but still have same issues. Is there going to be a recall soon?.

All of a sudden after starting my car up in the morning my adapative damper system warning light came on. I called the Acura dealer and they didn't know what I was talking about. I had to explain to the service representative who should know that Acura advance model has an electronic shock system that adjusts shocks for certain type of driving. I personally leave mine on comfort but now it's stuck in sports mode. I drove 4 hours to take it to the dealer and it took them literally 5 hours to diagnose that the wiring harness is bad. They said they will have to literally take apart all the internal console, seats, carpets, etc to remove that item and replace it. Now it's on back order for a month. The adviser said I can drive it without any issues for now but they weren't sure. So when I left the dealer we had a huge winter storm and my vehicle couldn't automatically engage the all wheel or snow driving options because the adaptive damper system is all interlinked to the issue with the wiring harness. Normally it would have take me 4 hours to get home instead it became an 8 hr ordeal. My vehicle was sliding side to side and slipping. I had a all wheel drive vehicle that could not engage the all wheel system and couldn't use the snow driving options. Instead was stuck in the sports mode. . . . . A vehicle that is not even 1 years old having some major issues like this does not seem normal.
Vehicle that I bought has known issues with missing rear driving differential bolt, this is indeed a safety concern. I have had this vehicle for under a year and since I've had it it's had a rattle that I thought was coming from the muffler added put onto a lyft and to my surprise the rear suspension and differential bolt/machine just so happen to not be there. When driving as car hits small or medium bumps corner only pulls it's also rattles do to this bushing missing.

My 2019 Rdx awd twice now under 4600 miles had steering lock up while traveling on a busy highway. Collision brake mitgation system warning started flashing on display and lost control of steering the car! lucky both times that I was able to pull off road out of traffic!! dealer could not find anything wrong the first time and said no recalls or incidents reported. Happened today again 7-13-29 and having car towed back to dealer.
Rear roof body paint is peeling near the tail gate. Rear suspension is clunking when driving over minor road imperfections.

I am a very careful driver who drives mostly local driving. Without any warning I suddenly started hearing a knocking sound coming from by back drivers side. Then noticing a rough drive and hard knocking sound when driving even over small bumps in the road. I had to replace the back shocks! which was quit expensive!! my car only has 55 thousands miles. I find that to be very unusual on a 5 years old car with on 55 thousand miles. Is this normal.

I am having issues with when you accelerate, the trans jerks & flutters, which is quite dangerous when trying to merge into traffic. I would like this checked into & something done about it, as I love my car, but that is a danger not only me & my family but others as well. There is also a loud clanging noise in the rear, like shocks. I do not live or go down bumpy dirt roads or messed up roads with pot holes. But for my car to be this new, it should not have bad shocks already. As this is concern of mine & by reading others as well.
I purchased the 2017 Acura Rdx, on March 20, 2017 with 20 miles. I noticed this past Saturday, June 24, 2017, that is rust in the exhaust area, around the wheels and other areas underneath the auto.

Update to original complaint, Acura dealer said they could not find anything wrong with my car in October 2014, had me test drive a 2015 Acura Rdx to compare the ride to mine. Taking car back again this week January 7th 2015. Car ride is unacceptable to me !!! I feel it is riding even worse than it was in October when they said they couldn't find anything wrong. I feel every small bump in the road and when I have to go over a slightly bigger bump or pull up in a driveway I hear a hollow clunking sound. Overall rough ride. Very disappointed.
Very rough ride making clunking noise took car to Acura dealer July 23, 2014 they said they replaced both rear shocks that there was a faulty part that was recalled. Took the car back approximately 2 months later because was having the same issue ( rough ride feel every bump in the road, they said one of the rear shocks was leaking fluid . They replaced both back shocks again . Took the car back a few days later cause it didn't seem fixed , they told me thy checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong . Took the car back today October 20, 2014 told them to check it everywhere real good to find out what is wrong with it waiting on response from the dealer .
While attempting to park in a parking spot, the car experienced sudden acceleration despite application of brakes. The car jumped over parking stops and collided with car parked in opposite parking slot.

At slow speeds (< 30 mph), when the vehicle hits a uneven road surface, a load drone/clunk noise occurs from the read of the vehicle. The vehicle was serviced at the dealer and had the rear struts replaced. Problem was rectified but now the issue is slowly returning. This issue is being shared by many as discussed on the Acura Rdx forums.
