He contact owns a 2014 Acura Rlx. The contact stated when driving at various speeds the vehicle 's engine emits an abnormal knocking sound. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer for a diagnosis ( autonation Acura stevens creek 4747 stevens creek blvd, santa clara, CA 95051) the diagnosis was the timing belt shim needed to be replaced. However the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified but stated that part was not part of the warranty and the contact was responsible for the repairs.
