The contact stated that the instrument panel illuminated indicating the right front passenger door open when it is not open, the chime will go off and the two head liner vanity lights illuminated. The contact stated that the failure would occurred when the vehicle in motion and when parked. The contact will open and close the doors but it will not correct the failure. The vehicle was taken to phil smith Acura, 940 n federal hwy, pompano beach, FL 33062, and was diagnosed but could not find a failure, but replaced a rubber latch on the passenger door. The contact mention that the vehicle was taken to the same dealer four times for the same failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 48,200. Aw.
