I have had several incidents where I have been unable to start the vehicle. The vehicle does not recognize the keyless remote even though it is present and has a good battery. We have been stranded several times because the car would not start. I have taken it to the dealer and submitted a complaint with Acura which they have done nothing to solve the problem since they cannot replicate it. I have pictures and videos but your system is not letting me upload the file type. These have also been provided to the dealer.

Unknown/ active recall.
The contact owns a 2016 Acura Tlx. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would jerk without warning. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 19v060000(fuel system, other) which the contact linked to the vehicle failure. The dealer was notified of the failure and an appointment was made for service. Before the vehicle was serviced, the contact stated that the vehicle stalled while making a left turn; as a result, another vehicle into the rear passenger side door. The air bags deployed upon impact, no injuries were reported. A police report was filed. The vehicle was initially towed to an independent mechanic and was later towed to an Acura collision center where it remained in their possession. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

It was a recall on my car trying to be proactive about the situation.
My families safety has been put at risk due to the lack of response from Acura/Honda regarding a recall that may cause the engine in our car to seize up due to a manufacturing defect. I have gotten no response from the Acura dealer other than to say that I can pay for the inspection and be reimbursed if there is a problem. But if there is no problem, I will be out the cost of it. I paid 40,000. 00 for a car that has 7500 miles on it and I am afraid to let my wife or son drive it. If I don't get some sort of response soon, I will just file a lemon law claim as the car is useless until it's inspected, and no, I'm not going to pay for that.
While driving vehicle goes into neutral on its own and will not go back into drive for at least 30 mins.
My car’s lights were on. I went to Acura to get a diagnostic and they said to replace the fuel pump. I replaced it, and the lights came back on. I got another diagnostic and I was told the fuel pump has a leak. I have an 2017 Acura Tlx that was not apart of the recent recall which I believe it should have been because my car is slow to steer which may cause an accident.

I recently changed the car battery and now notice that occasionally my car rattles a little then automatically shifts to neutral while at a red light, drive thru etc. Additionally, occasionally when parked with engine still running, my rattles a little and car shuts off. When this happens it displays the battery and oil light. I start it back up with no problem. I’ve taken it to the dealership and I’m told nothing is wrong with the car. This makes me feel unsafe while driving.
Well, since I purchased the 2023 Acura Tlx tech pckg, "it's a nightmare" everytime I drive it , I'm not enjoying it at all! I can't keep the car to go between the 2 lines! it just keeps going zigzag, I keep telling myself that maybe because "it's a brand new car" give it more time for adjustment. . . ! but it's getting worse and worse to the point that when it's raining, I have to pray to get home safely!.

I purchased a new Acura Tlx in 2020. The following year it took it into get state inspected in massachusetts. My care failed for emission 3 times. I brought it back to the dealer (herb connolly) in framingham massachusetts. They kept it for 3 weeks, worked on it and tod me it was all set. The following year I brought it in for a state inspection. The same thing happened. They told me that they had seen a few of these cases. They found a way to get them to pass. They have to drive it at different speeds for a few hundred miles. I asked that they fix in properly and they noted that they did not have a fix. This was all after I picked it up. I told them I was concerned as I worried this could keep happening. They encouraged me to call Honda motor corp. I spoke to them several times and they denied the problem. I am not in my third year. Car is still under warranty and it again failed inspection. Below is an email from the service manager on how to get it to pass. From: michael brooks <mbrooks@metrowestacura. Com> sent: Wednesday, July 26, 2023 4:05:38 pm smelson, david <david. Smelson@umassmed. Edu> subject: passing inspection hi david, as discussed we have not received any updated procedures or available software updates to get these cars to store the memory for the readiness flags. This is an issue what we have had to drive the car in very specific patterns to get it to pass. The main thing we do is do not shut the car off after driving it just pull it into the inspection bay and leave it running during the inspection. There are a few flags that are notoriously tricky to get to flip. Usually we use our $20 “obd” tool that we got off amazon which monitors the flags in real time so we know when it is ready for inspection. Below are the driving patterns we follow to get the problem flags to turn over: O2 sensor this is one of the trickiest ones, we seem to have the most luck getting this one from continued driving so there is not a spec.
It has camera issues where moisture or liquid can go inside, and it is very hard to see when I backup. I have contacted the dealer bodyshop to fix it since they repaired my bumper, but they said it is not their fault and they want more than $1000 to replace it. I did some research online, and a lot of people are having the same issue with poor quality with this brand. I never had camera issues with other brands.
I was traveling on the highway (on a very rainy day), when my car's green signal lights and orange engine light began blinking. Immediately, an orange warning sign on the dash read, "some driver assist systems cannot operate, radar obstructed". A few seconds after that occurred, I accelerated to pass a vehicle & as soon as I switched lanes to get over, my car went from speeds of about 85 mph, abruptly down to 15-20 mph. My safety was immediately put at risk as the driver I passed began tailgating me as if my actions were intentional. I attempted repeatedly to speed up, but my car just wouldn't go any faster. Once, I proceeded to get in the right line, I was almost hit by a group of tractor trailers. I called my spouse in a panic, who advised me to get off at the next exit. I followed his advice, pulled over, turned off my car & started it again. The lights turned off & proceeded to get back on the highway. About 3 minutes later, the orange light flashed the same message, "some driver assists. . . . " I immediately called leith Acura & tried explaining what was occurring. Once hanging up with leith, the dash continued to display "call ended" with leith's number flashing every few seconds. The radio also turned off with a "no audio connection for fm radio". Too afraid to accelerate, I drove minimal speed all the way to va. Also afraid to drive back in the same condition, I contacted crown Acura, who set an appointment for June 23, cancelling leith. Service advisor michael informed me that the technicians were unable to duplicate what occurred and placed me in a rental vehicle until my car was assessed and diagnosed. The next day I was informed my vehicle was ready and told the technology was reset. Before & after this, my phone calls are stuck in a limbo state where it will ring through bluetooth, the number will display, but there is no way to pick up the call via phone or car display. "brake" warning also blinks when there are no objects in front of me. *I have videos*.

Please see attached document, as my whole description would not fit in the box.
The backup camera lens gets foggy after a rain or when going through a car wash. It takes several days to dry out. The image from the camera is almost completely blurred out to the point where you can't see anything.
Unknown- I was on the interstate coming from work when I heard a loud boom sound. Then I heard wind. I got to where I could pull over and saw nothing. I looked at my sunroof and it was completely shattered. Just out the blue. Thankfully my sunroof was closed and my shade was pulled or I would have been seriously injured or worse.
While driving approx 65 mph on a freeway the vehicle placed itself into neutral and decelerrated as multiple warnings flashed across dashboard. . . “emissions system problem”, “transmission system problem”, “electric parking brake problem”. I was able to pull off to the side of an exit ramp but once I put the car in park I could not shift into drive. I could not safely drive/manuever my vehicle to a safer area putting myself and child at risk of being hit. I turned the car on/off multiple times to attempt to shift into drive, but to no avail. I called the nearest Acura dealer which was in the next town over from where I was stranded. After many failed attempts I was able to put the car in drive and move my vehicle to the closest road and off to the side but with the warnings still flashing. The last successful attempt I was able to put the car in drive again and without any further warnings flashing on dashboard. Drove 20 minutes to the nearest Acura dealer and was charged $300 for the diagnosis and update of 3 systems. Informed dtc code p0657, actuator supply voltage circuit/open, was found prior to system updates: transmission control module update, pgm-fi update, and abs system update.
Every time I took my car in for state emissions test computer at facility said car could came back saying “not ready”. Took it 5 times and it always said same result. Took it to dealer and they said they’ve seen this before but don’t know what caused it. They said the only was to resolve it was for Acura mechanic to take car to testing facility while his laptop was hooked up to cat computer, to “trick” testing facility into allowing cat to pass epa test. Car was still under warranty at this time and had 60,000 miles on it. Car passed tested dealer charged me $400 and said it was not covered under warranty because they could not find a code for the problem. Acura mechanic said he has seen this on other Acura Tlxs….
Stopped at red light and car would not restart after the auto idle turn off function had engaged. All lights on dash flashed and car kept going into neutral. Car would not restart for nearly 10 minutes and I was left stranded in an incredibly busy intersection with cars flying around me honking and yelling. I could have been killed as well as the man who stopped to help me. Incredibly angry to call my local Acura dealership and find out that this is a known problem. Makes me sick to think how many lives are in danger and no actual recall has been done to my knowledge.
While driving, the vehicle shift into neutral unexpectedly, causing the transmission indicator to come on and otc. Was going downhill when it happened but luckily I got off the road and went into a residential neighborhood to park. It was left on neutral and could not shift to any gears. I put the emergency brake so the car wouldn't move down. I later found out after the car was towed that I was able to shift gears due to turning off the vehicle. P0657 was the code provided when it was scanned by an obd2. VIN# 19uub2f33fa014519.
Engine shut down at stop (gas saving feature) when I try to go again give it gas car stalls.
Vehicle failed MD emissions inspection 3 times in a row because obd computer could not communicate.
I’m owner of a Acura model: txl year:2022, VIN: 19uub5f50na001275 I send my car after 7 days of purchase to the dealer because the car wasn’t started and all the dash light start blinking. Dealer said that this was not warranty cover because I tint the windshield and this create some humidity on the connector that go to the micu. I need that you please start looking this issue because in a lot of forums another people start getting the same electrical issue even without tint the windshield. My car was only 130 miles when go the dealers, and per my understanding this can’t be the issue because if we follow this excuse then we never can be do a detailing on the interior on the car or even to the dash because any product can be cause a humidity to the connector. Can you please verify if this statement is tru or not? because there is not or any disclaimer from Acura that for t:lx model you can tint the windshield.

Auto start-stop system failed on several occasions, the car shut itself down since then every time I start the cat I disable it. Transmission feels clunky, there is kick to it between 2nd and 3rd gear, many complaints found on the web. Bought the car with 16xxx miles 2 years old.
My fuel pump I think is messed up. I had my dad and mechanic look at it. They say it is the fuel pump. The mechanic was in the car when it kept jolting every time I pressed the gas. I could have hit someone in front of me! it keeps doing if. There is a fuel pump recall for these cars, but they don’t want to include my car even though it is. I’m highly frustrated. Please help! I put a date when my mechanics told me something’s wrong, but it started way before that.
My car has started to jerk. I called the dealership where I got it from and they told me that if it didn't jerk in there possession there is nothing they could do. It's a 2020 and it has a little over 28k miles on it. There are 2 open recalls on my vehicle, but my specific VIN isn't affected. I don't know what else to do .

The vehicle VIN - 19uub5f44ma009918 the vehicle, 2021 Acura Tlx, was purchased on June 8, 2021, from the showroom floor of metro Acura dealership. The vehicle was sold as being compatible with iphone, bluetooth handsfree link, and apple carplay. Not to mention the innovative technology, automatic lighting control, and auto-idle stop system. The vehicle was purchased with a full 4 year/50,000-mile warranty. I have dealt with metro Acura in montclair, CA, spreen Acura in riverside, CA, and wittmeier Honda in chico, CA. I have attached the service reports from the said dealerships for your review. This does not include the three times I have called for roadside assistance due to being stranded by the 2021 Acura Tlx. September 6- the vehicle would not unlock, even with the key. Stranded in a parking lot. Called roadside assistance by the time some came, the car unlocked. September 8- the warning light auto idle stop came on while driving September 10 – I took the vehicle to spreen Honda and spoke with mr. Phommasack. The vehicle had 3,275 miles. I was told that if lights are not on now, there is nothing they can do. I also explained that the bluetooth is sporadic, and the vehicle will ring even after the phone call has been answered. I insisted they keep the vehicle and try. Later the same day, after I picked up the vehicle, warning lights came on again about 40 minutes later -auto idle stop, automatic lighting control- light while driving during this time, the warning lights would continue to come on intermittently while driving. September 15- I took the vehicle to metro Acura and dealt with fernando alcaraz. The vehicle had 3910 miles. I explained to them about the vehicle not unlocking and warning lights. They stated something occurred when they put the wrap on the car, which caused the vehicle to not open; they said it was fixed. Unable to find a reason for warning lights. September 20 -auto idle stop, automatic lighting control- l.
Hi there, my car has been to the Acura dealer multiple times for the same issue, and I'm hearing that alot of other Acura Tlx owners are having the same issue. My car screen will randomly short, and can just shut off. Sometimes when I'm backing up, the screen will freeze and I wont realize that someone is walking behind the car, almost causing me to hit them. The audio system also can make weird crackling noises as well. There are definitely some safety features that shut off with the screen, though I cant pinpoint them exactly.
I have some serious issues with Acura Tlx with idle stop feature. My car had the same issues last year, when the car didn't turn back on automatically after the idle stop feature activated. I took my car to the dealership(Acura of fremont, CA) and they can't able to figure out the root cause and my car battery died in the middle of the road. It took 3 -4 hours to take the car to the dealership and they replaced the battery but now this issue started happening again. I called Acura customer service and they provided me this case number # 12058569 and forward the case to local dealership (Acura of fremont, CA). I have dropped the car at the dealership but they are not very hopeful to find out the root cause of this issue. This issue is really a safety risk and not sure what you are planning to do to address this issue. It's seems to be a known issue with idle stop feature. . Read more...
All of the systems lights started cycling through stating that they had "problems. " this happened while stopped at a light, with no warning. I had the oil changed just last week.
My sunroof exploded while driving 55mph, it sounded like a gunshot and glass was all over the shade, thankfully the shade was closed so the glass didn't get on us or in the car, I was driving north on a street entering the city.
