~tl the contact owns a 2012 Acura Tsx. While driving approximately 55 mph, the steering wheel seized and the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle restarted after one attempt. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the power steering module wiring needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to call NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000. The VIN was not available.

2 Wiring problem of the 2010 Acura TSX

Failure Date: 11/15/2015

Both rear main brake lights have failed. Fuse replaced and lightbulbs still does not work. Internet seems to point to wiring under the drivers side, before the fusebox. Safety issue. The third brake light does work.

3 Wiring problem of the 2010 Acura TSX

Failure Date: 08/17/2011

The contact owns a 2010 Acura Tsx. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for diagnostics where the technicians stated that rodents may have invaded the vehicle and damaged the wiring harness. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the failure was common but the warranty would not cover the repairs because an outside source caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000.

4 Wiring problem of the 2004 Acura TSX

Failure Date: 11/25/2009

Passenger side head light malfunction. Head light works on and off; does not turn on sometimes. Some days it works, some days it never does. Problem appears to be related to rainy/dump weather. Dealer did not acknowledge that it is wiring issue and recommended that the hole system be changed and it cost me $909. 00. They did not give me the old part.
