Brakes were working fine, coming off freeway, was coasting thru light, traffic stopped, brakes no longer worked, brake pedal was suddenly flush with floor. Rearended a car, car started jumping forward. Had to use the emergency brake to stop the car. Car was towed after accident, not because it was not driveable, it was not driveable due to brake problem. Repair shop said brakes failed to vacuum hose breaking, no warning prior to losing brakes.

While pulling into the driveway, the brakes failed. The pedal locked up and would not move. There was no braking force at all. I attempted to engage the emergency brake but was unable to before the car crashed into the back of the garage, causing significant damage to the car and the house. The car is currently in the body shop and will then be sent to the mechanic for diagnostic and repairs.

The consumer states that the vehicles left rear brakes failed. Also states that the vehicle often failed to stop during wet conditions, the consumer will press the brakes and there is a delay before they would engage. Brakes failed while going downhill on a wet but clean road. 58 degrees outside. Pedal felt firm and normal but brakes didn't slow car. 2 seconds of direct pressure yielded nothing. I then lifted my foot and repplied the brake with incredible force. 1 second passed with no response and suddenly the brakes grabbed and stopped the car. Scary.
While traveling at approxmimately 20 mph attempted to stop vehicle and brakes failed to slow vehicle down. Consumer's vehicle struck another vehicle, causing no injuries. Dealership has not examined vehicle.
When driving in rainy conditions brakesfailed to engage for several seconds after depressing pedal, causing a very dangerous delay.

Brake failure occurred under wet conditions. Brakes were applied at 30 mph, but did not engage for a few seconds (3). Brakes "chattered" before car eventually stopped, and luckily there was clear traffic ahead of me.
Brakes failed completely at 15mph while approaching stop sign. Car continued right onto the highway. Abs did not kick in. It had rained that morning.
Wet braking. Brakes failed to grab in a timely fashion, major delay in braking action led to my hitting the brake harder causing vehicle to skid sideways on a slippery roadway into another vehicle.
When applying brakes after driving for extended distance, brakes fail on first applying, but return to normal if pumped.

Whenever roads are wet and brake rotors fail vehicle is very difficult to stop. Brakes fail to respond, causing extended stopping distance. Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer unable to determine cause of problem. Dealer replaced brakes, consumer states problem has somewhat improved.
