3 Adaptive Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 11/06/2022

My wife was travelling on the interstate at about 75 mph, when all of the dash lights flashed in red that there was an electrical system failure. At this time, while driving in the fast lane, it seemed like all systems including steering and power brakes failed. She managed to make it across four lanes of traffic before the car died completely. Once we got the car towed to the dealership, they informed us that it was a failure with the 48v generator and that it would be at least 2 months to fix the problem because the part was on back order. It has now been 2 and a half months, so I called the dealership and they told me they have 31 of these to change and my car is still a few weeks away from be repaired.
