Accelerator Pedal Problems of Audi A6

The contact owns a 2017 Audi A6. The contact stated while the vehicle was stationary at a stop sign, after lifting her foot off the brake pedal, the vehicle accelerated independently. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to slow the vehicle by depressing on the brake pedal. The contact was able to drive to her destination. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer and the mechanic was able to duplicate the failure while test driving the vehicle however, there was no error codes was found. The contact had experienced the failure on multiple occasions. The contact stated she had attempted to contact the manufacturer, but no one answered the call. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.

When making a left turn from a stop light the 2006 Audi A6 "died" and did not respond to the depressed accelerator after a couple of seconds it responded. We were almost rear-ended by a following car. This happened two more times once while turning right and once pulling forward from a stop.

In early March 2004 mr groza was driving in cleavland, ohio on the highway doing about 65 mph. When he took foot off the accelerator pedal vehicle would not slow down. Mr groza said the vehicle actually accelerated. Mr groza was able to stop the vehicle with great difficulty by hitting the brakes as hard as possible, and putting the transmission in neutral. The engine went to redline. Mr groza pulled to the side of the road and turned off the engine. On March 16, a few days after the incident mr. Groza took the vehicle to dealer, and dealer could find anything wrong with the car.

While driving gas pedal stuck at 61 mph. Consumer had to pull out of the road, and turn off the engine.

While driving on the highway and without prior warning vehicle suddenly accelerated with uncontrollable speed causing vehicle to flip over and skid into an embankment. Driver sustained neck and back injuries and was transported by helicopter to the hospital. There were no fatalities.
