Brake Disc Pads Problems of Audi Q5

Vehicle brake pads and rotors completely worn out after driving the car for less than 20k miles. When questioned the dealer, the simple reason they gave us rust. When asked, where the rust is coming from - there was no answer. This is the first time in my life, where I have to replaces rotors and break pads, for vehicle which has less than 20k miles. The vehicle was regularly commuted 15 miles every day.

Squealing brakes at slow speeds. Dealership able to replicate issue but unable to resolve adequately. They asking us to replace rotors and pads with several hundred dollar cost to us. Car is only 2 yrs old now. We bought cpo after car was used by dealer salesman for 6mo. Brakes have been squealing soon after we got the car.

Brake rotors and pads needed to be replaced at 18,000 km , we were told that the problem was that we were using cruse control and that wore out the brakes . Brakes we pulsating and grinding . Inspection revealed that the rotors were hot spotted and a lot of material worn off the rotors and pads . We are not aggressive drivers and treated the car with utmost respect . Audi made us pay for new rotors and pads . Audi said it was not covered under warranty . I drive a gm that has never needed brakes before 100,000 km . Audi nailed us for 400. 00 for 2 rotors and pads .

Break make loud squeal sound at low speed. I replaced with rotor and pads but the noise came back a few months later. Tried to work with Audi to let them pay for another set of rotor and pads, but they refused. Audi does not consider this is a safety issue, and no solution at this point. However, my wife complained that the noise is changing her driving behavior, as she tends to break less or at the last second in order to lower the noise. At first I don't believe it, but I drove her car one day and quickly adapted to it as the noise is so bad.
