"takata recall" on my regular daily routine, I tried to turn on my car that it was parked on my driveway. I tried turning my car on when I heard a big pop sound, after that big pop sound a cloud of smoke from the front of the car. When I open the hood of the car I saw that the intake manifold of the car was broken into pieces.
The contact owns a 2007 Audi Q7. The contact stated that the vehicle was emitting a strong fuel odor. In addition, the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who stated the plugs and the manifold failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
