1 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2018 Audi Q7

Failure Date: 08/12/2020

Front brakes have issues from the beginning with brand new tires from the dealer. Dealer changed all tires with brand new tires again and brake pads for front brakes six months ago. Vehicle makes noise when I push brake. Vehicle is now with the dealer and they are trying to figure out. This is not at all acceptable being a $80k vehicle. Audi should discontinue these defective vehicles and refund the money. This is also a road hazard and risky issue to drive. This is a major safety issue.

2 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2017 Audi Q7

Failure Date: 09/01/2017

Brakes make a very loud squeaking sound when used in reverse. Brakes have been checked by the dealer; dealer advised that brakes were fully operational, nor safety concerns and that Audi was trying to fix the problem with the rotors and brake pads. Noise began after the Audi pre sense feature slammed on the brakes while in reverse, backing out of my driveway (because a rain drop landed on the camera lense) and continues to worsen.

3 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2017 Audi Q7

Failure Date: 03/24/2017

I purchased this vehicle brand new with only 8 miles. Ever since I took posession of the vehicle, the brakes have been making noise when applying the brakes, going forward or reverse no matter how fast or slow I go. Have been taking the vehicle to the dealer few times already for the same issue and all they are telling me is that Audi is aware of the issue and they will contact me as soon as they have a solution for it. Dealer refuses to replace the brake pads or the rotors. Its been a year since this issue nothing has been done.

4 Brake Disc Pads problem of the 2007 Audi Q7

Failure Date: 08/25/2010

I was driving my Audi Q7 the 25th of August of 2010 in miami, FL when the brakes suddenly stopped working and I ran a couple red lights trying to stop the vehicle. In the mean time, I turned the drive shift to neutral position and I started pressing the brake pedal several times until it finally stopped the car slowly. I stopped in a safe place and I call Audi tow assistance, they came in about an hour to pick my vehicle up and took it to the dealership (prestige imports). I am extremely disappointed with the services rendered by the dealership because I took the vehicle to inspection and repairs when it reached the 60,000 miles back on April, 2010, at which time I was charged for the front brake pads replacement (see attached receipt). I am terrified about what would have happened to me if instead of being in a regular street I was on a highway or if there were cars waiting on the traffic lights. I want to notify prestige imports and Audi of americas about my concerns in reference to the quality of the services rendered at this facility and the safety of this vehicle and I am concerned whether the brake pads replacement was really done as required by Audi's manual.
