1 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem of the 2001 Audi TT

Failure Date: 12/15/2005

Air bag indicator light continuously stays on. An authorized Audi service center diagnostic indicated air bag modular malfunction resulting in the inability for all air bags to properly function and seat belt tensioner to be inactive. In addition, the diagnostic indicated other safety components not available to this make and model as malfunctioning. Air bag modular is required to be replaced to ensure the safety of the vehicle and passengers. Without replacement of air bag modular, the air bag(s) will not deploy and the seat belt tensioner will not work presenting the possibility of serious injuries to the driver and/or passenger.
