The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated continuously. The vehicle was taken to a the dealer where it was diagnosed that the air bag module needed to be replaced. The contact mentioned the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000. 3 Warning Light On problem

The contact stated that the failure occurred after the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 14v428000 (air bags). The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v318000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 141,000.
