Exterior Lighting Problems of BMW 325 - part 2

I have a major BMW problem. It currently has a service bulletin # si b 63 03 06 lights but BMW will not fix this out of warranty even though they knew about this when my car was under warranty and I was supposed to get full services. I want a formal investigation.

The bi-xenon zkw lights kept getting dimmer and dimmer. Bulb replacement did not correct the problem. When looked into the issue found out that the zkw projector bowls have burned up and do not provide any reflection for the light output anymore. Driving at night at this point with lights on is almost like driving with the lights turned off.

The contact owns a 2002 BMW 325i. The contact stated that the bracket that held the brake and taillights failed because the wiring was melted. The contact had not taken the vehicle to the dealer but was advised by a personal friend that if he could ground the wires and keep them separated from the harness, the problem could possibly be resolved. The failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 135,000.

Rear lights are inoperative due to the connectors shorting out. I read online that it is a BMW design defect and is ground wire problem common to e46 model Bmws.

The housing for the xenon light bulbs are defective and the lighting output is very bad. The xenon bulb itself is fine but the housing is burnt and it is getting worse.

The tail-lights of my BMW 325i have periodically shorted out ever since I purchased the car. The warning light on the dashboard indicates that the light is not functioning correctly, and is not corrected by replacing the bulb. Before my warranty expired BMW replaced the rear tail lamp module which corrected the problem, but already the replacement module has shorted out again. Currently both tail-lights are shorting out.

Xenon lights went out shortly after the 50,000 mark. Shortly after car kept going into fail safe mode, kept getting low voltage readings on diagnostics. One BMW dealers kept telling me I needed to rebuild transmission. All they would do is plug the car into the computer and see the tranny reading on the scanner. The reason there was a tranny reading was because the car was in fail safe mode. I eventually had the tranny rebuilt and I still had the same issue. I would cycle the ignition and restart the car and car would drive fine. It keeps going into fail safe mode everytime I start the car. Its harder to get it out of fail safe mode in the winter with colder starts.
