The dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 17v676000 (electrical system) and 17v683000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the parts needed for the repairs were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The vehicle was taken to princeton BMW (3630 quakerbridge rd, hamilton township, NJ 08619, (609) 570-1520), but was not repaired because parts were unavailable. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.
