The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called a local dealer (south bay BMW, 18800 hawthorne blvd, torrance, CA 90504) and was informed that the remedy was not available.
