I took my car to a BMW dealership in cannonsburg, PA. Had no issues whatsoever dropping it off. I had driven 3 hours to get to the dealership for the recall. By the end of the day I received a call telling me my car was over heating and not drivable. How is that my responsibility? when obviously I drove it a long distance to get 3 recalls taken care of. I was told the water pump, I think was not working? it was working when I dropped it off? if it was overheating I could have never been able to drive it. Please help me figure out our to resolve this issue. I need my car and I'm regretting taking it in for a recall now.

Fuel injectors began leaking and have become faulty causing mis-firing. BMW had a similar recall involving cars with the same model year and engine as my car but has refused to claim it was also involved in the recall.

Voluntary emissions recall campaign 10e-a02: n54 car is smoking excessively due to faulty fuel injectors dumping fuel into the engine in an uncontrolled manner. Fuel leaking and fumes/smell, hazard, will cause fire.

While the car was travelling at a rate of about 45 mph, it did something I never experienced before. It started to shake, sputter and lose power while ascending a on a paved city street that had about a 20 degree uphill grade. The vehicle behind me didn't expect my sudden speed change and nearly rear ended me. . The engine icon appeared on the dash and I sputtered all the way home.

I have a 2007 BMW 328i with 120,000 miles. My car started to smell like gas just about a month ago, every time I go into my car it smells like gas it gives me a headache.

This is for 2 NHTSA recalls issued 10/25/17 and 10/30/17 NHTSA recall number17v676 and NHTSA recall number17v683. It is now 3 months later and BMW of north America still has no remedy available! both recall statements caution that "over time" the part could deteriorate, leading to the car catching on fire. Since the car is 10 years old, I am concerned that the BMW definition of "over time" has been met, and therefore we are left with a non-driveable car due to their warnings. How long should one wait with no compensation, either mobility or financial?.

Faulty fuel injectors. Known problem at BMW and mechanics. BMW has offered an "limited warranty extension". Why wasn't it a full recall? my vehicle was not in an accident. I'm reporting it only as a concern.

Fuel regulator filter plastic housing cracking causing fuel -gas leaking in side the car, and gas smell inside the car, safety issue, there is recall for 333i 2007 for same fuel leaking defective plastic housing but no recall for 328i 2007. August 6, 2016 - car stalled at about 50mph, just when about to go uphill. I wasn't able to make it to the shoulder leaving the car blocking traffic with my wife and daughter in it. Once it stops, it puts itself in park, making it impossible to push aside. We created a traffic jam and police barricaded while we were trying to move the car. Eventually, in about 30 mins, the car turns on. Happened after an hour of highway driving. Car seemed fine after that. August 17, 2016 - on another long trip, the car stalled on the highway. Would crank but not turn on. Almost exhausted the battery. Called a tow truck but by the time it got there, after about an hour, the car restarted. Had my odb-ii scanner with me and got code used my obdii reader and got code p142e - pressure too low in high-pressure system, which is consistent with not starting and the and the fuel system malfunction message. I took the car to autogermana service center, that same day. September 22, 2016 - stalled on a main road, with my daughter, on the way to the pediatrician. I was able to maneuver to the right lane and park on a gas station. Ambient temp was 94f. Waited about 30mins and the car re-started. The dealeship would not acknowledge a fuel system problem because they could not replicate the failure. Sent email to BMW customer relations but they referred me back to the dealership.

The car just stalls out. Sometimes, when I stop at a traffic light and then start to go, the car hesitate to go. It stalls in traffic. I have taken it to the dealer, but they can not duplicate the problem with their diagnostic test equipment. I am afraid that I will be hit by other cars because of it. Since the dealer can't seem to figure it out, I have been researching it on-line and lots of other people have the same problem.

I have a 2006 BMW 325i the vehicle is leaking fuel and from what I think it is the breather pipe. I am very concerned this will generate a serious problem like exploding or any type of fire problem. There is a puddle of fuel every time I park my car. The fuel leak is on the left rear side of the vehicle. The smell is ascending. I strongly believe this is a safety issue and a design flaw,and even though my warranty is expired the manufacturer should and must cover this safety concern before it is too late.

I have a 2007 BMW 335i with 25k miles. As I was driving getting on the highway my car has lost power engine was cut off. I was on a limb mode almost got rear ended by an 18 wheel tractor. This happen several times a week. Brought car to dealer. Dealer refuse to fix or replace under recall. They check the car out and said it was the fuel injector.

My car had all 6 fuel injectors replaced at 35,xxx miles back in Feb of 2010. Now at 69,285 miles all six have failed again. The car went into limp mode causing someone to rear end me on an on ramp. Failing injectors seems to be a common problem for this engine. These injectors have a 120,000 mile service interval but they failed for me at nearly exactly 35,000 twice. Hopefully enough people will make this an issue to have this become a recall.

My vehicle did not have a recall on the following items: hpfp, fuel injectors, wastegate. Failure- long crank, engine malfunction light, engine service soon light, clicking(rattling) coming from bottom of car(waste gate), car lose power on freeway, when rev clicking in the fuel injectors. Please help I have read many people had the same problem and many people were issue a recall. I haven't got one and am 100% positive these three items needs repair. My car is a 2007 BMW 335i and has not been issued the recall for those 3 failures. 89450 mileage please issue one. Thank you I just bought the car as of 5/15/2013 from private owner and noticed the problem till 6/12/2013 and still experiencing these problems daily.

This is not as much a complaint as a request for help. Since March of 2013 I have replaced 5 throttle bodies and 3 gas pedal sensors, all oem parts. The problem that happened again today: driving at normal highway speed [55/60] the eml, traction control and brake warning lights all went on. Pulled over and turned off. Restarted, now "service engine, eml, traction control and brake lights" were on. Turned off, restarted, same lighting situation, very rough idle and car would not drive, as it was struggleing for fuel. Unplugged the "mass air flow sensor": car started, displayed no warning lights, drove fine about 8 miles to repair shop. Code read shows, "throttle position sensor", replaced. . Same problem within minutes of driving. A little internet research on e46 finds this an all to common problem with no solution. Thanks in advance.

Heard noise and the car starting shaking and then car died on me and service on middle of nowhere and I starts the car back but it got stalled many times and it was shifting the gear to neutral it was a bad experience I could had an accident brand new BMW.

My wife was departing a traffic circle on base here in germany. She accelerated to 35 mph and experienced stalled acceleration as she was traveling down the main road. My wife was stepping on the gas and the car appeared not to be running. She attempted to get the vehicle off to the side of the road as it rolled to a stop. She was stuck in the right hand turn lane on a two lane road and waited for security forces patrolman that stopped and helped push the car out of traffic.

2009 BMW 335d, egr cooler cracks open and starts fuming unfiltered diesel exhaust into the environment and into cock pit of car. Highly dangerous gas has severe impact to occupants, car could not be driven as exhaust smell inside of car. BMW refuse to fix this under below mentioned recall as it does not include the cooler. Recall campaign no. 11e-a03: BMW voluntary emissions recall campaign scr catalyst, egr valve and/or def mixer and ecu software flash failed exhaust cooler makes the car illegal on road as it exceeds emission limits and is impacting the environment and is a health hazard.
