One problem related to cruise control has been reported for the 2000 BMW 528. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer is having problems with cruise control. He can be riding along and wants to accelerate a little while in cruise control, and after acceleration, speed sometimes does not return to original speed. Consumer states the speed may drop from 3-10 mph below the present speed, and then suddenly accelerate on its own back to the preset speed, the sudden acceleration almost caused an accident.
