Side/window Air Bag Problems of BMW 528

The contact owns a 2013 BMW 528i. While driving approximately 2 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the front driver side air bag inadvertently exploded without impact to the vehicle. The driver sustained severe bruises to both arms and legs. There was also upper abdominal bruising and stomach swelling that required medical attention. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the driver's side air bag was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000. The contact owns a 2008 BMW 528i. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 mph, the contact crashed into a parking barrier on the left side of the vehicle and the driver side air bag deployed. As a result of the impact from the air bag, the contact sustained a broken left arm. The contact was not aware if a police report was filed. The vehicle was not destroyed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of his defect. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

BMW 2000 model 528: driver's side airbag deployment without impact or inertial cause. No bumps, potholes or objects struck the vehicle. I was knocked out for ~ to 8 seconds at 75 mph.

This BMW deployed the passenger side air bag, driving down the highway at 70mph. At the same time both front tires went flat. I do not know at this time if the tires were punctured by an object or not. My wife was driving the car and said that she was cruising at 70mph,(8:30am with good visability) when the airbag deployed she pulled over and noticed that she had two flat tires on the front. There was tire failure with this incident, however I only know that the brand tire is dunlop. The car is at the dealership at this time. This so far, is a real mystery to us!!!!!!!.
