Tl- the contact owns a 2015 BMW 750li. The contact stated that after a failure with their ac unit, they had the vehcile serviced for the ac. Shortly after, while driving at approximately 20 mph when they began to smell an ordor that smelled like smoke. After parking the vehicle, they noticed black smoke coming from under the hood. The contact stated that they noticed the a small fire, so, the poored water on the vehicle to put out the fire. The fire department came and disconnected the batterty. A fire report was made and the vehicle was not sure if the vehicle was officially deemed totaled. There were no injuries. The dealership (peake BMW 2630 veterans memorial blvd, kenner, la 70062 (504) 266-0070) who stated that fan blower failed and caused additional wire failure leading to the fire.
