One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 2007 BMW Z4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On 8/19/2015 while leaving my neighbor hood going around 25 mph my passenger side air bag randomly deployed. The car is a 2007 BMW Z4 with only 32000 miles. I didn't hit a pot hole or anything that might have set it off.
