Two problems related to front seat belt webbing have been reported for the 1999 Buick Century. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer's child was strapped inside of carseat. Shoulder belt was strapped against child's waist and it tightened . Mother had to cut seatbelt. To release the child. The dealer refused to replace the seat belt under warranty because it was cut by the customer.
Seat belt does not adjust to fix consumer's shoulder; belt lays on her neck. Manufacturer notified, and informed consumer that it can't be ajdusted any more. Can NHTSA provide additional information.
