Three problems related to front seat head restraint have been reported for the 1999 Buick Century. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front seat head restraints do not stay in raised position when used. Nlm.
Both front head rests will not remain raised when they are used. Putting the head back against the head rest causes them to lower to the minimum position. There will be no support for rear-end collisions. Other cars in the lot have the same problem.
While driving, the vibration of the vehicle causes the headrest to rise. Dealer has seen seven times and has replaced the headrest. Problem still exist. Consumer adds head rest rises automatically while driving at 65 mph.
