The contact owns a 2000 Buick Century. The contact stated that while driving at low speeds, there was an abnormal odor inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the fuel pressure regulators failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer also became of fuel leaking form the fuel line. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 07e021000 (fuel system, other) as a possible solution to the failure however, the VIN was not included. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.
I have had to replace three different window regulators and now I am replacing the fouth one. The driver's window regulator has been replaced twice and now I am having to replace the window switch. Very costly. I also saw a Buick like mine and they had three windows closed with wood shims. This has to be a known problem with these regulators. Who do I speak to about this?.
The odometer does not light up, not allowing the mileage to show.
