Service vehicle, abs and traction control light came on. The light would go out at first but now is steady. Took car to dealer who said it was broken wire under hood. They have found many with same problem. A wire harness is to short and the wire eventually fails. Abs does not work during this failure.

My 2002 Buick Century developed a problem with the following lights coming on - service engine light, anti lock. I had the car at my local Buick dealer and repairs was made to the right front wheel. This work was done under warrunty. I had to make several trips back to the dealer to get the lights stopped from coming on, now the lights are coming on again and it is very annoying. The problem started last may 2003. It was corrected around August 2003 now in April 2004 it is starting again. I have no idea if I am having brake problems with these lights intermittently coming on. They are constantly coming on in damp weather.
