It's an intermittent problem. Buick reached an agreement with consumer for the following: the customer is being traded for a 1999 Buick. The customer is paying 10 cents per mile and the difference between sticker price.

When vehicle is put from park into reverse the shifter stays in neutral.
The vehicle's front end and steering wheel experienced severe vibrations at speeds exceeding 70 mph. The consumer purchased four new michelin tire but they did not correct the vibration problem. The gear selector became stuck in the park position periodically. The dealer was unable to duplicate the problem.
