We were involved in a motor vehicle accident on I-79 in pennsylvania where we were struck from the rear we were stopped in traffic the impact was severe it knocked the rear tire completely off. There was smoke coming in the vents of the front of the car and the air bags did not deploy. The front passenger seat belts tighten up so much that it caused bruising on my chest and ribs. My car was totaled out beyond repair. I do not understand why there was smoke coming from the front and the air bags did not deploy. Upon our return home I received an email from diagnostic indicating there was a serious issue with the frontal air bags. I am being told there is no recalls on my vehicle this is concerning to me what if someone else is rear ended and the air bags fail causing death or injury. I believe my vehicle is defective and I don't know what to do.

The scariest thing and I have never experienced a seat belt locking to the point of a child nearly fainting because it was chocking him around the belly area. The more I tried to give it leverage to release the lock the more it rolled in and wouldn't unlock. There are no emergency release buttons. God forbid there was an accident there would be no way to get someone out. Scariest moment of my life. Cops had to cut the seat belt. I do not want to put my kids in this car again. I feel with the windshield and tire problem on top of it is a very unsafe car to carry my precious priceless cargo (my kids and their friends)very disappointed.

On July 28, 2014, traffic lights were out due to a storm at a busy intersection making it a 4-way stop. When my turn to proceed I started out going north and a vehicle heading west didn't realize the lights were out ran thru intersection hitting me on right front passenger side pushing my vehicle over 2 lanes. I would estimated she was doing at least 45 miles per hour. She didn't see me and I didn't see her because a truck was stopped blocking both of our views. I bounced off drivers door and ended up laying in passenger seat. I was unable to move and when another driver helped me up I noticed my seat belt had come undone and the air bags didn't deploy. I was injured on my left side and required medical attention. I was not able to drive my car due to damage caused by accident. I am still currently under doctors care and due to injuries I am unable to perform my household duties plus I am unable to walk. I also suffered neck and back injuries.
Driver exiting a parking lot did not see my vehicle and did not stop. Hit my vehicle mid way on the passenger side pushing my vehicle sideways causing it to hit a light pole on the driver side front fender and hood. Air bags did not deploy and seat belt did not work causing me to hit the steering wheel with my chest and my knee on the dash. I was taken to emergency room. Nothing was broken but had extensive soft tissue, muscle strains and cartilage damage. Am still receiving treatment at this time.

Gm is doing the recall for chafing affecting the steel cable (14v266000 or 14187) the rubber sleeve my dealer installed is aggressively chafing worse than before, even on the passenger side, which barely gets any use. It appears the fix is worse than before . . . The plastic around the seat is easily tearing away the sleeve (after only a few weeks) and will directly affect the seat belt. Someone could get killed, and people are probably not checking since they thought the recall solved the problem. . . I have photos of the problem is you want, and I called gm on 6/17/14 . . . 800-462-8782 . . A customer service rep told me they can only keep fixing it this way. I asked her to escalate myreport since the fix could (also) get someone killed and she said she can't escalate this type of problem. What?????.

Consumer writing in regards to 2013 Buick Enclave vehicle. He is requesting reimbursement for seat belt recall repair.
Hello, problem: front passenger side seat belt alarms with less than 5 pounds of weight on the seat. Facts: I own a 2012 Buick Enclave. I had a service clinic appointment with sterling mccall Buick at the sw freeway in houston, texas. A few days before the appointment the seat belt alarm would ding when my purse and ipad was on the seat. I weighed the items they weigh 4. 8 pounds. This is the second time I have had this issue. They replaced the module about 45 days ago. Outcome: I was forwarded gm service notice document id 31202743/#08-09-41-0071. I could not believe this notice. I am not to put any electronic devices or large drinks in the front of the car. Really? there is a usb in the dash compartment of the SUV (without a notch for the cord - rolling my eyes) and gm thinks there will not be an electronic device in the front seat? and a large drink? I really don't get the large drink thing. That is hilarious. My dealership gave me a seat belt extender to keep the thing from dinging constantly. Opinion: I think the module under seat is so frequently defective that gm has written this notice to unburden the corporation of further warranty work. They can't put a piece of aluminum foil under the seat to shield this module from interference? of course I don't know how you could shield it from the large drink threat, bounty paper towels? my concern is if there is an electronic device in the pocket or lap or at the feet of a passenger will the air bags deploy?.
There is a big leak coming from the roof or side of door way. . Everytime I wash car or its raining I noticed leaking from side from front driver seat all the way back to passenger side.

Turned corner on ironwood46615 and rear ended car that stopped suddenly. Crushed my front end back to puncturing the radiator. No air bag deployed and no seat belt on impact. My knees hit the dash under the steering wheel. No onstar as no airbag deployed. Holding steering wheel was my only deterent to hitting forward. Repairs cost $5000. + and gm dealer insisted airbag and seat belt were functioning. Knees still hurt. And seen doctor about knees and going again soon. I am reporting this after hearing that there are recalled on seat belts and airbags on driver side.
The contact owns a 2008 Buick Enclave cxl (na). Both the driver and passenger seat belts became frail on the side. The retainer that held the seat belt cut the seat belt. Passenger seatbelt indicator turns off even when someone is sitting in the passenger seat.
2008 Buick Enclave cxl awd the seatbelt casement on both front seats in this SUV are being damaged (cut into) by the belt moving out and back over the housing, causing the belt to occasionally catch and not retract into the b-pillar. This problem has been reported to the local dealer, as well as gm corporate offices, and neither will replace the worn out and catching parts, claiming that this is not going to be covered by warranty at this time. We have been told that this will be addressed in the future and in the meantime dealers are being told not to repair this problem. Safety concerns lie in the fact that the seatbelt fails to retract occasionally and does not sit tight against the passenger and drivers chest.
