One day, I looked over at my seat and there were literally two tears in the leather. I immediately looked to see if something had ripped them. The only thing I put over there is a small cloth lunch sack so there’s no way that that could’ve done it. There was nothing sharp on the seat. I am also very good about keeping my leather maintained and car maintained . It needs to be repaired before it gets worse.

The passenger side seat air bag exploded and burned my daughter’s back while she was getting into the car. The car was in park and auto started. My son was sitting in the back seat behind her while this happened. She has 1st and 2nd degree burns and thankfully my son is okay. The car has been sitting in my driveway since that day. I have contacted the dealership and gm as well as my personal insurance. Gm is moving very slow and stated they would send someone to look at my vehicle within 7-10 days from yesterday . The investigation could take 30-60 days before we have an answer. We are currently on day 11 since this happened. Insurance doesn’t want to touch it until gm or the dealership looks at it and determines if it is a malfunction. The safety of my kids and family is definitely a priority and the fact that this happened is scary. The loudness of the explosion was like a gunshot inside the vehicle and the fire that came out of it is insane. Literally looked like a firework. With the airbag deployed I am sure the seatbelts are now compromised but either way I will not risk my life or anyone else’s and step foot in it. The car was looked at by local law enforcement and pictures were taken. The car is available for inspection but the dealership hasn’t called me back and gm is following their protocol and has no hurry. The airbag light had come on the week prior to this happening and had gone back off. I also had the tire pressure lights go on and back off twice in the past couple of months.
Driver's seat plastic frame components came apart from one another on left side. This area contains electric seat wiring and motors and connectors. Parts of plastic connectors have broken and seat must be held together with strapping tape. This was (several years ago) "repaired" twice under warranty but continues to fail. I fear the electrical components within the seat frame are at risk. The right passenger front seat is showing similar signs of coming apart.

Waiting in line at sonic driveway started reversing at breakneck speeds - finally stopped afte r jumping a curb and hitting a heavy pickup, air bags did not open malfunction of vehicle several days before the gear shift seemed sticky.
The passenger airbag off light come on for no reason while there is a passenger seated. We replace the seatbelt and seat belt sensor. The next code says to replace the seat sensor itself. That's a $1000 repair. And that does not ensure that the airbag will deploy. The seat belt replacement was supposed to fix the issue. Based on the codes. Will the airbag deploy in the event of an accident? we do not know. This occurs both when the vehicle is stationary and/or moving.

Both driver and front passenger seat trim is cracking and falling apart. We purchased extended warranty but it will not cover the front seat trim because ithey wont. They agree that it's not a wear item like oil, gas, brakes, or wipers but still won't replace them. The odd part is that the passenger side is worse than the driver's side but it is usually empty Monday-Friday. If both of our seat trim are demolished and we give it normal wear, we can't the only ones out there with this ridiculous problem. They just started falling apart about a year ago. I put a date because it was required for submitting this form but it was more of a progressive breaking apart.

The contact owns a 2008 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that the second row seats were not operable on the driver side of the vehicle. The contact noted that both the second row driver and passenger seats were not operable upon purchasing the vehicle; however, the technician was able to repair the passenger side seats. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the second row seats needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 107,000.
Sunroofs has been leaking since we bought it and now all the electrical stuff is going bad. It's a safety hazard. No one will help.
The pps module keeps breaking every 1. 5 years. This is the passenger presence module in the passenger seat that gives indication to the vehicle as to whether there is a passenger over 100 pounds, and tells the vehicle whether to deploy airbags. Since the original purchase, it has broken 3 more times. It was replace twice under warranty, and now it has broken again out of warranty and ritchey Cadillac tells me that I have to pay for it. It is over $1000 to fix. . . Every year and half?? the 'service air bag' message comes on, the airbag icon comes on. It breaks so often that I don't trust it at all! clearly this is a passenger safety issue, that is not being properly addressed. They keep replacing the issue with a junk solution.
Three weeks ago I took my 2008 Enclave to o'neal Buick GMC to have the air bag recall completed as I had the airbag warning light illuminated in my dash along with the service airbag warning sign. I also noticed when I dropped my vehicle off that the passenger side airbag wasn't working regardless if anyone was sitting there our not even my husband who's 210 pouinds the light stayed off. After looking at the vehicle the technician came to me and advised that the passenger side airbag issue had nothing to do with the recall and that I would need to bring it back and leave it but that they were fixing the recall which had to do with them touching wires under my driver side seat. Upon leaving the dealership I expected the passenger seat to be the same as they told me I would need to bring it back. However the airbag warning light and service airbag sign should have gone away and they both were still present. I questioned it and the tech said again it has nothing to do with the recall. Upon driving home I noticed that I now had another issue a clicking noise coming from under my driver side seat which was nsot present before they did the work. I dropped my vehicle off to them again on 7/28/14 for the follow-up visit and advised the dealer that based on my paper work from gm the warnign lights I have are a result of the recall. I also alerted them to the clicking noise and they said we will look into it. To my surprise when I picked my vehicle up on 7/29/14 all lights were off and even the passenger side seat was working and of course no charge to me. However, as of today 7/30/14 I still have the clicking noise and it's worst. I hear it all over my front end and now even when I turn my steering wheel to the right. I think something went wrong electrically when they initially tried to do the recall. But it may not be them since someone else is having the same issue.
There is a big leak coming from the roof or side of door way. . Everytime I wash car or its raining I noticed leaking from side from front driver seat all the way back to passenger side.
Vehicle was already once serviced for a water leak. Water coming from interior rear back up sensor notification. Also water leaking into the a pillar. Also water coming out of the visor attachment to the head liner. Again, water is coming into the interior. Passenger carpet is always soaked.
After a steady rain I noticed the passenger floor board was soaked. I thought a window was accidently left cracked after checking window and realizing window was not cracked. Water is getting into car through sun roof draining into the car. Several rains later it is constantly water inside the car.
Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that the molding cover for the driver's side seat controls failed. The contact stated the seat did not stop operating, but the wires for the controls were exposed haphazardly. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the part was replaced. The dealer stated that the controls would have failed if they were not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and the current mileages were 20,000. Kmj.
My wife weighs 120#. During normal driving the passenger airbag on and off light is erratic at best. Once set to off while driving even bouncing up and down won't turn the airbags back on.
Vehicle struck from rear by full-size pickup while stopped at intersection. Estimated impact speed 55mph. Both front driver and front passenger seats collapsed, with the front passenger seat landing on child seat in rear, and front driver seat collapsing completely. Driver and passenger sustained back, neck and shoulder injuries.

Purchased new in August 2010, reported back to dealership there was movement in seat back/bottom or both. Have returned and communicated with selling dealership and general motors (service request #71-929161000) on this ongoing problem as movement still exists in seat. Libertyville Buick GMC 1120 s. Milwaukee Ave, libertyville, IL 60048 attempted to repair seat three times and failed. Problem is still exists and gm headquarters in detroit is standing by their field service rep and the dealship saying there is no problem in their view. Having said this, no one has seen the vehicle to examine if in fact repairs were successful after their last attempt at replacing parts on the seat frame. No representative from libertville Buick GMC, gm field service manager or anyone else representing gm. So, I dont know how they can say the problem is fixed if they are still receiving complaints and have not examined the seat for warrants of this complaint. Additionally I have taken this vehicle to a privately owned auto service center: I am thankful to b & l automotive repairs, inc 3830 n. Kedzie avenue chicago, IL. 60618 not only provided great service but has also detected the root problem in the seat and provided their option on what should be done to remedy this problem - replace the seat. When I provided this information to gm headquarters, they reviewed the information and came back with the same repeated response indicating that although they understand I am not satisfied with their response, they have nothing more to add in terms of correcting this problem I have experienced since I purchased this vehicle from the dealership. I am concerned as to the seat providing stability when stopping in an emergency when needed most in addition to the seat wearing out well before its time.
