Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe Problems of Buick Encore

Buzzing heard when I pressed on accelerating pedal. Heard a pop, then it would not accelerate and smoked out tail pipe. Engine light and oil lights both turned on. Vehicle was in motion when it occurred . I parked shortly after incident and had car towed to firestone next morning. Jeff said engine blew and recommended dealer powertrain warranty to fix. Turbo blew which blew engine.

Tl the contact owns a 2014 Buick Encore. The contact stated while driving 5 mph, the vehicle hesitated with the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact was able to drive to her destination. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer bohn Buick GMC located at 3815 lapalco blvd, harvey, la 70058, (504) 347-4070, where the vehicle was diagnosed with needing the purge valve, intake manifold, valve cover with pvc system and hose to be replaced and the pcm-r to be updated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the repairs were completed. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was approximately 66,100.

Multiple lights came on at once and needed an intake manifold, pvc tube, valve cover, all which were repaired and the car continues to jerk forward intermittently on acceleration and deceleration.

There is a constant coolant leak appears to be coming from the turbo area. Coolant smell is constant as the coolant is being burned off by exhaust manifold. Loss of cooland can lead to overheating and engine failure.

I purchased this vehicle in 2017 with only 45,000 miles, 1 year warranty was purchased. I have had constant issues with tires, but more seriously I have had over $2000 in repairs for intake manifold, air conditioning, various issues with tires, repaired thermostat. I had an ignition problem repaired in 2019 and now the check engine light keeps flashing, the motor doesn't want to engage and I am in fear for my life that I will be on the highway and it will just shut down, causing a collision!.

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer courtesy Buick(1857 edwards lake rd, birmingham al. ) who replaced a cracked valve cover seal. ( 2017) but the failure eventually reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer howard bentley(4321 us hwy 43, albertville al) who replaced the intake manifold seal but the failure eventually reoccurred and the cracked valve seal was recently replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,000. Jft.
