I have a 2006 Lacrosse with 28,000 miles - there was a recall for the ignition switch that was repaired a few months earlier; then there was a whining noise with the steering - had to have the steering gear replaced; at the same time, the module/coil went bad.
I can hear a strange noise in the steering column when I turn the steering wheel. I am not going fast. It seems to make this noise at the slightest turn. I see where you are having problems with this. Please tell me what I am to do to get this fixed please. Thanks, willard mott.
