The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. The instrument panel indicators and headlights dimmed twice. The second time the failure occurred was while driving 70 mph. When the contact moved the dimmer button, the instrument panel indicators illuminated again, but the high beam headlights illuminated instead of the normal beams. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice and they found no failures; however, they replaced a part. The contact was unsure of which part was replaced; however, it did not correct the failure. The failure mileage was 49,000 and current mileage was 50,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. He stated that the instrument panel lights would not illuminate when the daytime running limps activated. The dealer inspected the vehicle however they were unable to repair because the vehicle was designed that way. The failure mileage was 5,000 and current mileage was 8,000.
