Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated a blue trim plastic piece has detached within the headlight causing the illumination of the headlight to be reduced in it's visibility. The contact took the vehicle to the dealership (hyatt Buick GMC located at 922 frontage rd e, myrtle beach, SC 29577 phone number 843-480-0029 who diagnosed that the entire headlight assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired and that the issue could result in a fire due to the detached plastic's location. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that they may have a representative reach out regarding the matter, however, the contact had not received a call back as of yet. Dic said right front headlight out,took to dealer,said ballast burned up inside headlight assembly put on order, waiting for repair at this time.
The contact owns a 2014 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that the low beam headlights were defective and failed to provide the proper light coverage. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times. The dealer raised the headlights; however, the defect was not corrected. The manufacturer advised that the headlight design could not be changed.
