Today is 8. 26. 2025, I took this car back and left it w/dealership: let them figure it out! I told them 0ne month after purchase this car is constantly empty with no/oil. I should not be getting oil changes this often. "OH, it just burns more oil and you bought a used car". . . Months later I hear smalls sounds, engine light comes on, then goes away, smoke begans to continue spreading behind the bumper building a permanent black spot on bumper! it smells, from time to time, plus car feels sluggish when driving past 50mph almost scared it will cut off** now, I gather my funds that I don't have to spend (cash) no creditcard and I proceed to belle tire! I am on file within their system. (receipts) they do what they do. . . Apparently no leaks. But the car is burning too much oil!! too fast! "keep an eye on your levels". . . Hmmm* I also got a maintenance tune-up on my next visit. So far roughly $2000 has been spent towards this vehicle (Buick). (new battery also) plus aaa cost *I have a membership* now time continues to move forward this car knocking,clouds of smoke, in the car, outside the car, around the car, thru the vents, pulling, stahling, knocking, clunck,clunck,; embarassing!!! my son and I, OH no. . . The meat inside a barbecue grill* drop off/ASAP (pulled over called aaa). (7/24/2024 - 8/25/2025)owned this car 1yr!! I need a new car they wont give me one. . . I made every monthly payment on time all by western union (receipts). I go into the same store each month 19th -22nd and pay. They don't want to trade-in either*.

I’m experiencing issues that seem to align with the gcm recall despite my vehicle supposedly being fixed for this recall prior to my purchase of it. I cannot run the heat with the headlights or various combinations of things that would otherwise be normal because the battery will drain within 30 minutes, resulting in the car to going into “battery saver mode” where each system begins to power off one by one which ends with the car losing speed and just turning off and not turning back on. I’ve been stuck and had to jump it more times than I can possibly count due to it not starting or going in the battery saver mode. I’ve noticed a weird odor that smells like burning wires. I’ve owned this car for 3 years and have had these same problems with it since the day I bought it. I’m at the point now where I don’t even drive it unless absolutely necessary because I’m afraid it will shut down or cause an accident. The power steering is always first to shut down and on various occasions, I almost hit someone or something trying to steer off the road. I chose todays date as the “incident occur” date but this has been an ongoing issue since the purchase.

I was not in a car accident! hoping not to be just want to report this issue. Car kills in mid driving stability track comes on flashing checking engine with stability light and track system light as well! leaves me stranded in the middle of wherever I am! stability light comes on car will not start back up . It’s takes a while to start back up! having kids in the car with this issue is a major problem! I have several videos of the car doing it and will try to keep track of it! the check engine light is not on when flashing not reads when I check it just stability lights! the car has been doing this for months now! I’ve read that this is an issue with other Buicks like mines. Please help get this issue resolved the proper way! also the security comes on when the car does that.

While driving, the stabilitrak indicator lighted and the car began to flash multiple warnings, loss of steering ability, electrical anomalies, and eventual shut-off. This happened while on a major interstate highway, jeopardizing the life of the driver and other drivers. This happened on multiple occasions within two days. The vehicle was towed to a service center, who had difficulty determining the cause. The service center suggested transferring the vehicle to an authorized gm dealership. Similar incidents have been reported by other owners on this website. This should be investigated immediately.

#07-06-04-019f: intermittent malfunction indicator lamp (mil} illuminated, otc pl':1. ~j with reduced engine power (repair instrument panel (ip) to body harness connector). Lost power on I-84 and had to cross over the right lane because I had no power, barely missing a rear end collision.

There have been at least five different occasions when the doors of the car will randomly lock and unlock continously for anywhere from 1-3 minutes. No one would be holding the key or pushing the button. We are sitting in the car when it happens. It has occurred with the car on and off.

When I put my car in park it still roles.

Transmission problem. Jerking when going into gear.

Driveing on hwy at 68 mph sudenly lost power stearing and all power to everything could not use windows or open doors cause could not unlock could not even turn hasard lights on very danerous.

The brakes are getting stuck on while I am driving. The most recent occurrence happened while I was on the highway. The car would not accelerate, the whole system was shaking, there was no safe space for me to pull over. This vehicle has a recall for this exact problem but from what the dealer is saying, not my VIN. I find it hard to believe that this has occurred and it is unrelated to a previous recall for faulty brakes on 2011 Buick Lacrosse. Since this incident, the abs light has been on and another dash light has been on. My mechanic believes the brakes getting too hot may have lead to further damage to the abs sensor.

In October 2021, while driving, the car lost power. Several indicators displayed at the time, including: • service engine • service stabilitrak • service antilock brakes • service transmission I managed to pull the car to the side of the road and restart it, but it was stuck in first gear. After several restarts it performed normally. I took the car to miller & sons, they told me they could not find a code and the car was performing normally at that point so there was nothing they could do. They told me if the car did it again, to bring it in immediately so they could get a code for the malfunction. Two weeks later, the same malfunction occurred, I took the car directly to miller & sons. Once again I was told they could not find a code or problem and I was sent away again. The third time this malfunction occurred, I was driving at 40 miles an hour and the car began to accelerate on its own. I could not brake, shift to park, shift to neutral, steer or apply the emergency brake. After about 15 seconds, the car shut down in the middle of the road. It could have caused death or seriously bodily injuries to me or others. At this point I had the car towed to miller & sons. I am told that while test driving the vehicle, it also accelerated on the mechanic jeff grohovac, almost causing an accident again. At this point the told me they found 60 codes dating all the way back to the first incident, but they still did not know the problem, they replaced the transmission control module in hopes that would solve the problem. It did not. In August, the same thing happened. They replaced the transmission control module again. About a month ago (September 13) it happened two more times. It is still sitting at miller & sons. This time I contacted gm for some assistance. I was using the messaging system (case number 9-8449768411) I was told a senior advisor was assigned to my case and that a tac team would consult with the dealership to diagnose and correct the problem. . . .

Taken car to dealership for computer analysis and was told that the issue was caused by p0420cataylic converter needed to be replaced. I had cataylic converter replaced elsewhere and noticed that wasn't the problem. After doing some research I found that ignition switch is the reason my car stalls while driving. There was a product safety recall (14299) ignition key rotation and replaced on 10- 8-20 but I'm having the same problem.

The contact owns a 2017 Buick. When making a left-hand turn there is a rumbling sound coming from the right front, while driving approximately 20 miles. The bushing components are warned out. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop, then to the dealer last week. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. No illumination lights on the dashboard about the failure. The repair shop diagnosed the failure; however, was informed GMC no longer carries the part. Waiting for recall to be repaired. Local dealer indicated unable to get parts.

My vehicle has been parked for the better of about two years due to head lamp failure and engine shutting off without warning at any particular time. Steps were made to fix the issue but the problem continues still to this day.

The right side power mirror changes position by itself, it only seems to occur when starting vehicle. It will change even if the correct position is entered into the memory. It happens numerous times in a day or not at all. And I took it in for service, the dealer said there is nothing wrong, we cannot duplicate the issue. So they could not fix it.

Driving under 40mph on two-lane road next to the lake. We heard a noise and thought we blew a tire. My husband tried to get the car under control and avoid going into the lake. The driver-side rear tire was not flat but was very "crooked". Vehicle was not driveable. Tow truck towed to dealership. Police and tow truck driver inspected the vehicle. No warnings. Upon receipt of recall notice, we brought vehicle to dealer on 8/27/2021 for service of the toe link. The service was not done because the part was not available and there was no status on when the part would be available. We are without a car. Stuck with a rental car and tow truck bill.

I noticed today as I was stopped at a red light with my foot on brake the vehicle was kinda jumping like it was trying to go while foot was on brake. I drove a little further and the service stabilitrak light came on followed by the reduced engine power. The car proceeded to die in the middle of a busy street. After a few minutes it did restart and I was able to get it home. This seems to be a common problem with 2011 Buick Lacrosse. Ihave seen several complaints about this same issue.

While driving, the engine shuts down and restarts. At the same time, all four door locks unlock and lock. In most cases, the issue happens once and does not reappear for that trip. The worst can have it do this at least three times. Once, I did notice an alert message appears on my console that disappeared as soon as it happened. This instances appear not to be as bad, since I had the battery replaced (shortly after this issue appeared, the battery went from being a "good" battery, to a dead one. Nevertheless, these issues do happen on a periodic basis.

I was driving on the 99 freeway when my car turned completely off! I could have been killed!!!!! the check engine light came on and service stabilitrak was on the screen. Then it would not start. There was no warning at all. I got it fixed (so I thought by one mechanic) and it happened again. So I took it to the Buick dealer and they fixed it(so I thought) and it happened again. It is now at the Buick dealership and they told me it is the control module on the computer and quoted me 996 dollars!!!! I looked up online and found that other people have had the same problem with their 2010 Buick Lacrosse. Seems to be a manufacturers defect and needs to be reported and recalled.

The passenger side power mirror changes position by itself. Also when I hit a bad bump or pothole the doors unlock.

Doors will not lock with either the fob or the interior lock button on either doors. I'm reading on line of similar issues with this model where doors will not unlock!.

Sometimes while cornering, almost always a right corner, my car will act like anti skid is enabled. . . I lose power and slow way down,, then my car speeds back up on its own, it does it while engaged to anti skid or not. When I put brand new tires on, it quit doing it, but it's doing it again. I have had this car into the dealer with this complaint about 3 years ago. . . No issues or recalls were on file at that time. This rear toe link recall is what my car is mimicking, but my VIN # is not listed.

While driving my car on the highway the car would completely power down. After sitting in the emergency lane for an hour the car would start and operate as if nothing was wrong. I have had the car for almost 5 years and this has been happening the majority of the time. I have spent over $6000 in repairs with no success.

I filed a compliant Jan. 25, 2021 (#11389775) in reference to my car stalling. Which has been continuously happening the majority of the time I have owned the vehicle. I was contacted by my mechanic that my problem fits the issues on recall #13v173000 which my VIN # does not pull as a recall. I called gm last year in reference to the same issue which they stated because my VIN was not included in the recall that there was nothing they can do. I have noticed that there are quite a few Buick Lacrosse owners that have the cars that are equipped with this e-assist are having the same problems and are being told that their VIN # are not included. It seems that gm has overlooked a lot of cars that should have been included in this recall. I have had my car for a little over 5 years and my car has not operated correctly due to this issue. I have attached the text message I have received from my licensed mechanic.

The front headlights and running lights just go off for no reason. When driving home on night the headlights went off for no reason. The nest day, they worked. They continue to work, but the night they went out was very disturbing. The vehicle was in motion, on state hgwy, getting ready to turn to the right.

Car in motion on city street came to a stop at a traffic light and car shut down when tried to put gas pedal it made a loud noise and did not want to start up but finally started. This is on going for months and the dealership can't find anything wrong.

Driver cannot see road which windshield stays fogged up when driving and will not defog this is a danger for it could cause it led to crashes windshield and back window remains fogged up which is very dangerous when driving in traffic I was just made aware that there is a recall on this and need this taken care of ASAP thanks.

I own a 2019 Buick Lacrosse e-shift (VIN#1g4zp5sz7ku112510). Over the last 4-5 mos. I have had 3 incidents where the e-shift mechanism has gone into park without touching the shift control. 1. First occurrence - approx. 5 months ago car was in drive at very slow speed entering parking slot with foot lightly depressed on brake. Car changed to park on it's own. Stopped abruptly, gears grinding, jerking me toward steering wheel. 2. Second occurrence - around 10/10/20, car was in drive, foot lightly depressed on brake, waiting to make left turn at stop light. Car changed to park on it's own. Again the car stopped abruptly, gears grinding, jerking me toward steering wheel. I scheduled appointment with dealer maintenance on 10/13/20. They could not replicate the problem. Asked for me to return the car so they could have overnight. Due to covid escalation have not scheduled appt. 3. Third occurrence - on 12/11/2020, I was waiting at a red light, car in drive, foot fully depressed on brake, and the car shifted to park on it's own. I heard the car locks click, and wondered what caused that. When light changed and I tried to accelerate, the car did not move, and it was then I noticed it was in park. I intend to take the car back to the dealer for them to see if they can replicate. They had nothing in their database on 10/13/2020 reflecting other complaints. I'm somewhat skeptical they can replicate due to the random occurrences. But it definitely seems to be in the shift park component of the car I am now very hesitant about driving this car. Since it happens randomly, and abruptly, with no forewarning, I am concerned for my safety. My questions are: 1. Has anyone reported a similar problem to your group? 2. What other information do you require? 3. What other actions should I take? 4. What other groups can I contact to inquire about the problem?.

Cuts off while driving.

The boxing of my keys has given out the unlock and trunk and opening the doors the rubber is gone over of the black blocking . I have a 2010 Buick lacross I would love have some help with this.
