My tcs & abs lights will not go off. I am unable to get a lot of power after stopping & my cruise control will not engage. ??? this seems to be a very common problem in all Buick Lacrosses. Recall?????.

Could not press on steering box on left above. Engine shut off while taking a right turn driving a few days after we bought the car. Steering and brakes went. Car shut off in middle of the road on a busy street. Car did restart and drive home about one mile. Drove the car 2 more times with no problem. Then on day 10 drive car couple miles to store on very busy street; car shut off while driving taking right turn and steering and breaks did not work; almost ran into an oncoming vehicle as car would not steer into store parking lot. Turned car in automatic ignition and it started; waived oncoming car; apologized; and car was parked. Drove home without incident. Going to call Honda dealer that sold me this car, there is recall on 2000-2009 I just researched, but unsure if recall extends to this behicle 2010 model. Please contact me if any action or remedy in law I may have. This is very dangerous situation; no one should have to be physically injured before obtaining a fa ir remedy. Car recall should have turned up on car fax done by Honda. Please contact me regarding recalls on this vehicle. I can't check this box off below. Tech issues. Thankyou! this is frightening!.

Whenever I put fuel in the car it has a hard time starting and will also stall occasionally. It's been happening since June 2018 and I have had a mechanic try to fix it and they can't figure out what's causing it to do this. Are there any recalls for this.

Twice after filling up with gas, my car was oils not start at the pump. Each time I had to wait several minutes before it would actually start. The second time it happened, I waited, it started then immediately quit again. There is a very hard start when it attempts to start as well. The engine light came on then immediately went off. I took the car directly to the dealership where it had to remain running until they could get it in. This was 540p on Friday, may 25th before a holiday.

I submit this complaint on behalf of my senior citizen mother who is 75 years old. My mom had a very scary experience & got locked inside of her Buick car for over 1/2 hour & could not unlock any of 4 car doors from inside to escape out of her car. Plus, key would not turn in ignition & car wheel locked up. It was winter season !! car was stationery. All car windows were rolled up so my mom could not get any heat nor fresh air. My mom could have froze to death inside of her car !! more scary -- we have no idea when it can happen again nor how long the next lockout will last !! clearly this is a safety issue !! especially for a senior citizen person. We are amazed that Buick did not yet issue a recall for this type of incident. I found Buick forums on the internet where hundreds of other people complained of same related problems !! I emailed all 7 websites to bcr. Some people cannot even unlock driver car door to into get into driver's seat !! they have to enter their cars thru passenger & crawl over to passenger car seat or enter from backseat of the car !! obviously Buick & gm never did anything yet about this scary & annoying problem !! on March 16 2018 I opened a new case #8-4000469674 with Buick customer relations (bcr). They flagged this as a safety issue !! bcr said Buick will only work with a Buick car dealer on this issue if my mom brings her car to a Buick car dealer. So we made an appt for this Monday, April 16 8:30am at fox valley Buick (fvb) in st. Charles, IL to get her Buick car diagnosed !! bcr will work with fvb & cem (customer experience manager). Clearly -- this is a very serious safety issue !! in hot heat or winter cold -- a person can literally suffocate or freeze being a trapped prisoner inside of their car !!! 2 bcr reps failed to call me back over 4 days. One bcr rep was supervisor. But I was diligent & I followed up with bcr !!.

When in motion a/c doesn't really work, it rarely cools off and doesn't work when car is stopped. Defroster fogs up windows to where you can't see and can cause an accident. A/c blows out hot air but it's charged.

Accelerator stuck when I accelerated to merge in traffic on freeway. I pressed on brakes to slow the vehicle. After I arrived at my destination I placed vehicle in park and slowly pushed on accelerator. I heard a click as the accelerator stuck and the engine revved.

When driving my car on declining grades the "traction control" light will appear and the car's front brakes will automatically slow the vehicle down. This happened on 1/21/2018 most recently and almost caused an accident as the person behind me wasn't ready for my car to come to a complete stop.

Key fob with "switch blade" type of key breaks off leaving key stuck in the ignition. I turned the key to start the vehicle and the key snapped. I read on forums this happens with a lot of people.

Car stalled out twice, lost power steering. I was backing out of a parking lot space; restarted and then stalled while pulling onto street. Fear is it stalling in traffic and getting rear-ended. I took to garner Buick where had purchased new. When car was relatively new and still on warranty had had similar issue, but dealer never found problem. Now occurs again. They found two sensors that failed but ok now so told me to drive over weekend and see what happens. I see this as a big safety problem and an accident waiting to happen. Buick should be responsible if this happens, but in the meantime I am the one injured.

Sold a lemon car by drivetime financed through bridgecrest financial llc I purchased the car 12/22/2016 and have been reporting problems since I drove off the lot. I live beyond 300 miles of the location where I purchased the vehicle.

Car has autostop. While waiting on light and when it changed car stalled like it did not want to start up. It made the noise like someone turned the key with the car still on, but this is a keyless ignition. It has died this several times and I have taken it to Buick dealer and they say nothing wrong with it, it has did it twice more since they checked it. Last time I was at a food drive thru and it stalled made noise then started back up. Vehicle was stationary. It seems like the autostop gets stuck and their is a delay starting back up. That is dangerous when turning at a light. Please investigate . Thank you.

I was driving south down highway i5 and my sunroof exploded and shattered. Nothing hit me and there was no rock or foreign objects. It sounded like a gunshot or explosion. It occurred yesterday 10/19/2017 around 3:25 pm or so. I was not physically harmed, just frightened and glad my kids were not in the car. The break is outward not inward so you know it didn't come from a falling object.

I had parked in the visitors parking space at the nursing home. I wanted to straighten my car in the space. When I put it in reverse, my car lunged forward at an uncontrollable fast speed, went across the sidewalk, hit the visitors parking sign, went across some grass, across the main sidewalk to the building, across some more grass, hit the visitors parking sign on the other side, and across the sidewalk. I finally got it stopped in the parking lot by aplying the brake. Since my wheels were turned to park, the car made a complete circle with the wheels still turned. I believe there is a defect in this vehicle which could cause a crash or cause a death!. I was fortunate this time! when will it happen again?. Consequently we have a car which we are afraid to drive. I believe there is a defect of some kind which caused my accident. This is a Buick Lacrosse 2016 with less that 5,000 miles on it.

The engine fan would come on after driving the car for a couple days, finally while driving the car the engine light came on and the car started running on reduced power and the car overheated. A leak was found in a hose and was replaced but yet the car still continues to overheat rapidly.

I write to lodge a safety complaint on gm. This public safety issue centers on the detachment of the rear spoiler while operating my 2008 Buick Lacrosse, my argument is that engineers, both licensed and unlicensed, are employed by vehicle manufacturing corporations. They are engaged in the process of manufacturing vehicles that are place into operation on our nation's highways. Their work directly affects public health and safety as much, if not more than their licensed colleagues in consulting engineering. These engineers and their corporations have a responsibility to public safety and product liability. This has been clearly documented by cases such as macpherson v. Buick. They are responsible to ensure that public safety is a number one concern this is codified in title 49 usc. Vehicle manufactures have the inherent responsibility to provide for vehicle safety and to provide for the notification of defects and noncompliance issues. Us federal regulations through the federal motor vehicle safety standards (fmvss) specify design, construction, performance, and durability requirements for motor vehicles and regulated automobile safety-related components, systems, and design features. This includes engineering design and engineering manufacturing defects, shortfalls, and shortcomings. I was commuting to the dealership from work to obtain an annual virginia state safety inspection. While operating my vehicle southbound, at a speed of 60-65 mph, around the 147 mile-marker, the rear spoiler detaches from my vehicle causing at least two trailing vehicles to operate their vehicles erratically in an avoidance maneuver. The rear spoiler detached and skidded to a halt on the left shoulder of the highway. I then signaled to the left shoulder to stop retrieve the detached spoiler. This could have been an egregious outcome.

Trunk pops open on its on without hitting the button on the remote.

I took a short trip earlier today and when I got home I was unable to open the driver side door. I have not had any problems with the locking or unlocking of this door before and no matter how many times I unlocked the door it remained locked and unable to be opened. The lock indicators showed that the door should have been unlocked but this was not the case.

While entering a parking lot at approximately 20 mph vehicle suddenly accelerated at very high rpms and jumped the curb hitting a tree, extreme pressure on brake pedal would not stop vehicle. . This was the second time in 2 days this problem occurred. .

While stationary or in motion the driver side front door will not unlock with key fob, unlock button on door panel, or by hand. All three methods have been attempted to unlock the door and they have been unsuccessful.

My car shuts down while driving. My dash will display "service traction control system, reduced power, starting disable" I must pull off the road; car shuts down, now it has trouble restarting after this occurs. My computer doesn't retain the codes for this issue. My dealer mechanic & personal mechanic cannot find the problem. Have spent $1000 within the past 2 months on this. Still not fixed. Dangerous to drive this car. Occurs intermittently; no pattern. I am paying for a car I cannot drive. Very upsetting. Please help.

Vehicle will randomly make a double bong signal with no associated warning lights. Sounds is not the same as a seat belt sound. Will occur under variable conditions, moving stopped turning, highways, city streets etc. Has been occurring for an extended period of time and can occur multiple times a driving period. (ie different times yesterday) sound appears to predominantly be concentrated on right side of car but has appeared to come from directly in front of driver position a couple of times. Concerned it could be a safety condition. Unable to replicate to dealership since occurrences are random but ongoing .

Purchased car a little over two years ago and in that time it has been in the shop for repairs numerous times. The problems that continues to occur is the check engine light comes on and the car cannot stay running. It loses power at stop lights, been pushed at gas stations and has even stopped running pulling onto the interstate. Taken it to the Buick dealership and each time they claim to have "fixed" it. This car was in the shop two weeks ago exactly and the check engine light is back on and the car continues to stop running (full tank of gas) for no reason. I do not have an additional car to drive, so when it is in the shop I have to rent one or borrow one, along with the costs to get this car "fixed" I am looking at about four thousand dollars since November 2015. The Buick dealership in twin falls, idaho needs to figure out what is wrong with this car and get it fixed for good. This is not ok. Who spends this much money on a 2013 car, only to have repair bills and a car that is still not fixed! on a side note, weren't a large majority of 2013 Buick Lacrosse's recalled? if so, I have never been notified. Shame on you Buick for selling such a poor running and unsafe care and shame on rob green Buick in twin falls, idaho for not fixing a problem after our car has been in your shop at least four times since November 2015 for the same problems that have been reported time and time again.

There has been an unusual tingling noise (example: tapping sound of an aluminum tin pan) coming from the rear driver left and passenger right sides of the body pillar panels. The sound is noticed while driving on rugged pavement and also with increased speed on the pavement. Service records can be furnished of multiple visits to the dealer addressing my concern/complaint, but there has been no satisfactory resolve. Moss brothers has been very generous in making accommodations (loaners, dollar incentives) for me while my vehicle was being diagnosed and kept under their care, but I also have a complaint about how dealer surveys are structured. Please note for the record, I have completed and submitted to the dealer many surveys giving them praise for their service, only because I had to pick and choose which battle I wanted to fight to get what I needed to have done. There were a few times where praise was in order but more times when it was not. One time when I wrote a complaint last year, I was verbally scalded in a phone conversation about that and was told that all they did to assist with loaner provisions, that my negative survey affects the dealership's rating and employee bonus/recognition. I felt at that moment, "voiceless" and like their "unwanted step-child". With that said, I tread gingerly on how my real opinion is expressed when completing dealer surveys now. I would love to continue buying Buick vehicles as this is my second Buick Lacrosse that I have purchased from moss brothers, but I feel there is much work yet to be done to improve the integrity of how surveys are structured so as to not jeopardize the customer's loyalty to the brand, assistance services being provided and dollar incentives being given to keep customers as a satisfied and long-term customer.

Intermittent issues with the engine accelerating when the brakes are applied - I. E. When applying brakes at a stop sign the engine tachometer indicates that the engine is running up to 2000 rpm. The only way to get it to decrease is to let foot off brake pedal and reengage it. This has been noticed when the engine is cold and even warm. The insurance monitor registers it as a "hard braking" event. As I stated it is intermittent and has registered 7 hard braking events in 978 miles. Dealership states that until it gets to be consistent that they can't address it. . . . . I am escalating with them as of today - 01/04/16.

The truck pops all the way open/up when the car is turned off or while I am driving at a slow speed. It has happened so many times but I can not duplicate it so I can get it fixed by gm.

This vehicle stalls/cuts off while driving. It can occur while driving or taking off from a stand still. It maintains a stored history code p0014 and after service will reappear. Especially dangerous while driving in the national capital area. Buick has a notice about the engine control module and that has to be reprogramed for that vehicle model and my VIN number falls within that bulletin. The problem is that it doesn't work and the vehicle shuts off at a moments notice. Right now I'm afraid that my life or someone else is ir real danger. Unfortunately I'm not the only one. While searching for a solution I found numerous owners with the same problem/ same complaint. I hope it doesn't take the loss of life to address this issue.

The drivers door fails to unlock with car in park and ignition off. An internet search indicates this is a common issue with this vehicle. This issue is not addressed by gm.

While running vehicle ignition switch went off and car was left without power steering and no motor power. I have to make a complete stop in order to start the car again. It all happens after getting my car to GMC campaign 14299.
