I was driving and my car stopped then I started it back up then hesitated to go. I parked the car then tried to reverse an it kept jumping and won’t accelerate. I could have got into a major accident on the freeway. The code is giving a transmission control module.

The contact owns a 2018 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle hesitated to accelerate while the accelerator pedal was depressed. The contact pulled over and checked underneath the vehicle. The contact discovered that the start/stop accumulator endcap bolt had detached, causing transmission fluid to leak onto the ground. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated that in 2021, he detected an abnormal fuel odor coming through the air vents while driving. The brake pedal also stuck while depressed, and the rear brake pads needed to be replaced frequently. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer in 2021 for the fuel odor, and an unknown fuel system part was replaced. The contact related the failures to NHTSA campaign numbers: 20v668000 (power train), 18v358000 (fuel system, gasoline) and 18v576000 (service brakes, hydraulic); however, the VIN was not included in the recalls. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The failure mileage was 161,188.

My breaks keep injecting off my 2013 Buick Lacrosse while driving, ruining my break calipers. Have gotten fixed 3 times. Car is currently not able to drive.
Control module, left and right rear wheel speed sensors.
I have brought my 2018 Buick Lacrosse to two different Buick dealerships who say that even though a special instruction letter was recognized and a recall was observed, because my check light went out and the codes on the car where cleared, they will not fix either recall. On three different occasions, the car slowed down to a crawl speed, the check engine light went on and the brakes applied themselves. Also across the dash was displayed 'service transmission'. I thought it was the accelerator pedal position sensor, but it may be a transmission problem. I've had it towed on three different occasions and had the battery replaced. Neither dealership will not fix the problem, however.
Car has 4 trips on rollback and one driving in for transmission problems 3 trips was when coming to a stop the car will will slide to stop almost making us hit dash of car each time there would be a warning about a minute before service transmission . One of the trip for transmission service light I did drive it in. The car went in yesterday for transmission service again. My thinking of this is what would happen if I were driving 70 mph and the car locked up what would happen to me and the people around me.

While driving stability trac, check engine light flashed and rpm, and speed gauges start going haywire. The car loses power even while accelerating, the steering wheel locks and car stalls. Then after 15-30 minutes the car starts fine and drives. Has happened at least 8 times. Took it to Buick dealer who ran diagnostic but unable to recreate codes but acknowledged a problem. Supposedly fixed it only to return the car a few days later. This is quite scary and dangerous as it happens without warning and while driving. Thankfully I wasn't on the expressway when it happened because all steering, power and brake function is lost.

When braking from 50 mph or 40 mph coming to a stop my car jerks and it’s very hard to stop it uncomfortable hesitation, jerk, or lurch. Almost caused accident twice where I couldn’t stop the vehicle this is very unsafe for me and my family also transmission downshifts and up shifts are really hard in this vehicle.
Car shut off while in stopping position. Happen 3 times before supposed problem was fixed and then two more time after oil change and transmission control module fixed. Dealership does not know what the issue. Thankful each time I was not driving on interstate.
The contact owns a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would shut-off as the service power steering message was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated she waited approximately 15-20 minutes to restart the vehicle. The vehicle resumed normal operation. The contact had taken the vehicle to several independent mechanics who were unable to duplicate the failure. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 94,400.
The cem on these cars go out very fast without no notice.

Air bag is on says it needs checked and also some electrical problem with the transmission that is causing the car to jerk while accelerating.
Problem with the transmission burning up and breaking and the car unable to be driven and I have heard from other people that have had the same problem from there cars mileage from 28,000 miles to 60,000 miles the transmission just goes out it’ll make like a howling noise one day and then you’ll get in the car the next day and it just will not move and the transmission fluid will smell burnt and it doesn’t matter if you maintenance the transmission filter and fluid.

The car was just purchased on 112619 and the day I bought I got warning light on dash next day car is in reduced power mode, took back to carmax to have this issue resolved they cleaned tps adv it was dirty poor contact. Two days later the light is back on this time the car is sent to Buick dealership in gilbert they replaced the throttle position sensor and I was told issue is fixed 24 hours later car is back in reduced power mode.
Tl the contact owns a 2011 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled with several unknown warning lights illuminated. After several attempts the vehicle restarted. Additionally, the contact was concerned about moisture entering the vehicle from an unknown source. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the throttle body and O2 sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.
My vehicle stalled out while I was on the express way. Then it would not start without a jump. Check engine light came on along with traction control light. Computer put out a code p062f. Now I have to get a jump almost every other day.
Camshaft sensor fails repeatedly, after warranty replacement. This is causing the motor to die at different speed's and loss of vehicle control. The vehicle is unreliable and unstable. It is a liability to operate knowing any minute the csps can fail and render the vehicle useless.
Stability tracking light comes on randomly causes transmission to kick and jurk comes to a stop in traffic . Electronic brake light comes on , telling to have serviced. Told dealer about problem . Told they couldn't find problem reset computer. Dealer code was. Programed in and continues to act up over and over. Was told it was a short problem. Told me they resolved the problem with a used pump in transmission! sorry to say didn't fix the problem.
Tl- the contact owns a 2017 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated while driving about 35 mph the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken to flow companies of fayetteville (1945 skibo rd. Fayetteville , nc 28314) were the vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 1345. Bh.
While driving the car down the road it will "randomly" shut off. Giving no indication other then dimming lights. Neither the dealership or the garage I went to can explain it. The power steering doesnt work and has almost caused me to crash on the highway and town roads.

Just recently got my car fully service and within 2 weeks later I was driving my vehicle and it started decelerating and shifting abnormal. All my fluids was visible in my car and its not shifting properly, wont let me catch speed past 33mph, wont go in reverse and also sometimes it stall to go forward. I believe this vehicle should be on recall due to safety driving issues. I have 2 family members that own the same kind of vehicle like me and they are experiencing the same issues with they car. Got it towed to dealership and I was told that my transmission would need repair or get a new one. Havent heard anything back to why so many people having the same issues so figure I would give this a shot so these vehicles can get inspected. During the time of my issues, my vehicle was in motion on a busy street and it seem like as I make a turn it wouldnt get no better. Wont let me catch speed once it decelerate and wont reverse at all(I can put it in reverse gear but its not backing up at all).
The component is the brakes and the brake pedal while not engaging the brakes they remained on even after the vehicle was shut off . The vehicle brake lights remained on this was not duplicated when I took the car in by the dealer of how the brake remains engaged we even when not being used I would have to release the break by pulling it up with my foot while driving . This was duplicated and witnessed by two others the dealership where I bought the car and a trusted mechanic. Which no avai there was no warning light indicating any type of concern prior to it doing this. The brake pedal being slightly stuck my transmission shifts not properly and hot feeling to the car now I have a warning saying that ac will not work due to the overheating of my engine which I believe to have repaired however the repair that was believed to be the problem obviously wasn't the problem because the light still remains on and the fan runs continuously the minute I start the car to the time I shut the car off I live in north dakota and it is -1 today and the fan continues to run at all times and the warning light is on cooling fan the car lunges at times which is easy to lose control over when it does this it lunges to the point where it physically noticeable and and no warnings of this that a compensation is going to need to be made in my driving with this lunge issue. I do feel this break issue has affected many other parts of the vehicle and the safety associated with these components. Also at times the driver's seat will not move it goes up to the dash or back to the back seat leaving me in a position where I cannot drive the vehicle safely at all. Also the cruise control would not engage because of the brakes being slightly engaged. Took her to the dealership discussed this problem with them and they could not duplicate and it's been going on since I purchased the car it had 30,000 miles on it when I bought it and it continues to do this and I think it's a safety issue.
My car stated that my trakstabilty system needed to be serviced then reduced engine power lite up. Car would not shift and would not increase in speed over twenty miles per hour. I had to pull over and turn my car off leave it parked until I could get it to the dealership. The throttle body was defective. This has happened on other 2011 Lacrosses and their is a special service bulletin with free repair but for some reason not in mine. I had to pay 500 dollar to replace this. My car only has 74000 miles on it and I could have been injured if I wasn't in a place where I could turn my vehicle off safely.
I have no idea whether this concerns the takata inflators or not. While accelerating from a normal traffic speed (approximately 20 to 40mph) , it seems like the transmission shifts up and down rapidly several times between lower gears. If the acceleration is terminated by by lifting your foot from the accelerator, the shifting goes away. After that, a soft pressure on the accelerator will allow the vehicle to accelerate without further unwanted shifting. This is a reoccurring problem.
The engine light had come on and I went to a repair shop to have it repaired. I was told to bring it back the next day and on my way back the charging light came on. I was on the highway doing 70 miles an hour in a curve when all systems went down the instrument panel lit up and I lost braking, steering and all other functions. And I was very lucky to not have wrecked the car. This is a very dangerous situation that needs to be corrected.
Sitting at a red light and released the brake gave the car gas to move but just sit there like transmission wasn't engaged. Secone time car was being slowed down wife gave it some gas to move on up to stop sign she said car wouldn't accerlate she thought it had went out of gear finally engaged and moved up.
The vehicle started to voluntarily come to a stop, and cut itself off without notice. Then, subsequently, the battery light/icon started to appear onto the dash screen, followed by a deceleration while driving with an information notice stating that the battery power had been reduced. With this notification your ability to accelerate becomes hindered, and having consulted with on-star, a diagnostic test resulted with a code of p-0335, and the problem listed as an ignition system engine misfire. Such diagnosis comes with a warning of speed precautions, and highway driving is not recommended.
2017 Buick Lacrosse. Consumer writes in regards to issues with transmission. The consumer stated when accelerating from a stop, the vehicle intermittently seemed to stick or downshift into low gear. The vehicle was restarted and appeared to be normal. The dealer could not duplicate the failure.
The transmission, with approx 89,000 miles burned up while I was on a road trip. I was 9 hours from my home and alone with a full car of vacation equipment. I was on interstate 24 in nashville tennessee. I pulled off and a service station checked why the engine light was on. They said the codes showed transmission problems. I should try to get to the nearest Buick dealer, in clarksville tennessee. They said it would make it. I was alone. Thank goodness for onstar. I had to spend the night in clarksville because the dealership was closed and it was getting dark. The car was barely moving by now. It was frightening. I stayed the night at a baymont in clarksville and was at the dealership at 6 30 am. Was praying it could be fixed and I could continue on my was to milwaukee with my beautiful car, which I had put so much effort in keeping in good running condition. Just before my trip, I had replaced my tires with beautiful michelins, and sick my car had gone into limp mode twice, replaced the throttle body. Everything ready for a road trip to amelia island from milwaukee. Wyatt johnson dealership said the transmission was shot. 4500. 00 to fix, and would take a week. I was stuck. I had to get home 9 hours away. I would need a rental to drive home, then drive back then drive home if I would have the new transmission. I gave my beautiful car to them for 1500. 00. I bought another 2015 Lacrosse. I had to unload a full car into the new one. Extremely frightening situation. I now have a 2015 Buick Lacrosse which I bought for 19,800. Just so shocking that an american made transmission would burn up at 89,000 miles. The car was in motion, but in slow traffic on the expressway in nashville when the problem began. I will send copies of all documents.
The issue I'm reporting has already happened approximately 8 times. First time I'm driving on the highway at 65 mph, and engine on car completely shuts down, driving wheel locks or power steering gets lost and brake pedal stops working gets very stiff and all this happened on a state highway. All that can be done is let the car come to a complete stop in its own all while using all my force to try my best to steer car away from traffic, because it locks and that time I could barely make it turn slightly due to the stiffness. After that, the car's engine wont start but lights and radio work. After constantly turning it in and off engine finally starts up after approximately an hour, but when placed on drive only moves very slow even when stepping on gas it will move at about 1 mph. I turn it off and on several time and then when I finally step on the gas it jerks me forward finally when on drive. . . .
