Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated the transmission seems to be slipping on the vehicle. The contact stated the failure has steadily gotten worse and the vehicle has a jolt when it shifts gears that feels like the vehicle is being hit in the rear at 50 mph. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the problem was not with the transmission, but with the programming of the computer. The dealer stated the computer is sending incorrect signals to the transmission and that is causing the vehicle to jerk violently. The dealer also stated that the manufacturer is aware of the failure, but there is no current reprogramming method for the computer. The failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 21,000. Rl.
