One problem related to transmission gear slipping has been reported for the 1998 Buick Lesabre. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission slips after being engaged for 24 miles or more . This happens at start up from a standing stop(stop sign etc. ) it has happen only 4 times this year. Dealer unable to say what is wrong or repair needed. Has anyone got a idea what it is?.
