Pulling back the "Smart stick" to change head beams from lo to hi requires effort that many not be enough so . . . The hi beam becomes a "passing" hi beam. Once achieved to hi beam and released, a second pull back of the "Smart stick" and releasing may turn off both hi & lo beams altogether! so pull back the 'Smart stick' a second time and release. Always works the second attempt.

When I use the dimmer switch on my headlights to switch from low beam to high beam all of my headlights go out and it is completely dark. When I switch back to low beam the lights come back on. This happens at various times and not everytime I try to use the high beams. Sometimes they actually work.
