Driver, age 82, on way to dr. Office in elmore, OH when the back of driver's seat. The back of driver's seat started smoking and burned a hole through the leather and a hole in the driver's coat that she was wearing. It was a very cold day, with wind chill below zero. The heated seat had been on for approximately 1 (one) mile.

This car began to show signs of front end wobble a few months ago. This means it feels like the wheels shake from side to side mostly when accelerating from 30 to 45 mph. I took it to the dealer about a month ago but he said he only felt it one time while driving it several blocks around the dealership neighborhood. I took it to firestone immediately after I left the dealership and they balanced the bridgestone tires and the wobble seemed to be lessened. I then took it home and replaced the rear rotors and brake pads as they seems to vibrate when we put the parking brake on while driving. This seemed to help smooth it out at the time. This is my wife's car so she drives it and in less than a month she said it is wobbling again. I drove it again tonight and it is much worse than before so I believe there is something seriously wrong with this suspension. This car has been under a warranty from warranty warehouse for the past seven years and we have had some repairs made at the dealer and each time we ask them to check the front end as it made grinding noises and never seemed to handle as it should. Each time the dealer said it was ok. This appears to be a problem with many reports on the internet regarding front end issues with Buick Lesabres. We also had the drivers side seat repaired under warranty and it has not worked properly since it was repaired. The contact owns a 2004 Buick Lesabre. The contact stated that the passenger side heated seat would overheat and burn the passenger. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was offered. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for inspection or repairs. The failure and current mileage was 63,000. Updated 05/04/11.

Vehicle described in excellent condition & was stopped behind other stopped traffic at a continuous red traffic signal. Full size commercial van fails to stop while traveling over 35mph and hits (veh des. Above), from behind sending same vehicle into another. The air bags failed to deploy. Seat belts failed to hold front right passenger, failed to hold passenger in position. This caused adult her to be quickly trusted forward into dash & then slammed back into head rest of seat, then suddenly thrusted under seatbelt and into the dash board and ending under the vehicle dashboard. Body repair in excess of $4000. Frame was twisted/bent & both vehicle rear doors would not close after incident. Driver seat was knocked off track and would not stay in a locked position after incident. Serious injuries & severe disabling conditions occoured since this incident. Both front seats have gotten wrinkles in the leather, the dealer said that there is nothing that they can do about the wrinkles. I believe that they can and I will not except that nothing can be done.

Since date of purchase motion of lhf seat, l & r, occurs on turns. Anoise can also be heard. The condition appears to be getting worse, both the detected motion and noise have increased.

Consumer states was hit from the rear by another vehicle. Both driver and passenger front seats shook back and forth excessively causing occupants to hit heads on roof of vehicle. Collision was very minor and seats should not have moved. Ts.

Window wiper fluid was empty/ automatic transmission failure/ tire light came on twice,clunk under driver seat.

Design of the front seat (back) collapses during collision for safety reasons, consumer rear ended & seat collapsed resulting in injury.
