While backing the vehicle out of my driveway, it lost all power steering and the fluid gushed from under the car. Now the there is no power steering.
Car died while driving it. Lost power steering and brakes. Had car towed to dealer. It was diagnosed as having a faulty ignition module. I was lucky I was not on a highway at high speed. Given the company recalls on ignition parts on other nameplates, it is likely that the Buicks are also seeing ignition problems and failures but gm has not issued a recall for this car platform. I hope that no one is seriously injured or killed before this defective part is recalled. I consider myself lucky.
