The contact owns a 2006 Buick Lucerne. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph when coming to a stop, the vehicle suddenly accelerated. On one occasion, when the contact applied the brake and shifted into drive, the vehicle suddenly reverse. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who could provide no diagnostic codes but stated that the engine was causing the problem. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 23,000 and the current mileage was 28,591.
