Left home in the evening and turned headlights on. Noted the highbeams were on and tried to change to lowbeams, but headlights remained on highbeams.

The contact owns a 2009 Buick Lucerne. After just purchasing the vehicle with 400 miles, it developed headlight failure while driving at night. The contact pulled over and kept flipping the switch up and down until the lights illuminated again. The failure occurred four times while driving home within a 45 mile radius. Only the high beams would activate. The contact does not want to drive around with the high beams activated all night. The contact owns a 2006 Buick Lucerne. The contact stated that he has moisture vapors covering the high and low beam headlights on the passenger side of the vehicle. As a result, his headlights are not shining bright enough. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the headlights should clear up within two to six hours and work properly again. No repair was needed because the failure was caused by atmospheric conditions. The failure mileage was 1,400.
